Do you repeat everything that you say on the other forum? :)
1. it isnt forbidden to be on other forums!
2. when you would have checked my post statistics there, then you would have noticed that I'm not active there. I post there from time to time.
3. I posted my first reply regarding the print run here ...then posted a different post there, which I found interesting, so I wanted to post the post here too.
4. do you change your mind on each forum?

Nothing wrong in sharing info from BD forum. Kevin will most likely always get the news first before we do because of his direct link

2500? Another blood bath. I think this will be rediculous expensive after the aftermath as so many Collectors won’t be able to complete their line up.
Do you think so? Lots and lots of people say this movie sucks
Guess that’s why they lowered the print run. I think 2500 is still too much.

It does suck lol. That is a fact as well :p
But no one wants to really have a hole in their line up.

2,500 is low for Star Wars
Star Wars has a huge following

Star Wars last Jedi was always going to do well on home media DVD/Blu-ray/4K UHD
UK/Asia units purchased done very well and other countries

The haters posting their nuts Youtube videos about rian johnson lol did not affect home media sales or the box office :p nor the Star Wars new trilogy plans

Blufans IMO should have done same print run as Force Awakens
It would still end up as a sold out release

Anything Blufans release it will sell out. They could do 5K print run and it would sell out. Releasing a low print run is a strategic move by Blufans. They want to keep their premiums ‘collectible’ in a sense they will be sought after release (not like you care at all Paul) and more added hype.

FA are now beginning to adopt this style. Releasing 500 for the XL slips when it was their usual 1000 print run was a smart idea. They know it will sell out instantly and not having loads still in stock in a lot of their releases. FA are learning now.

A buyer in any business main goal is to maximise profits and units sales
Unit cost is important if you order less you pay more
If you have a release that can sell 3,500 or 5,000 units you don't go with less unless you know it won't sell

Blufans can easily do 3,500 and it will be still sort after as it would be a sold out release

Then you should ask Blufans why they didn’t release all their editions 3,500 - 5000 units? ;)

Maybe you should ask Nova and Plain Archive to stop releasing 5K print runs they can’t sell out? ;)

Lol!

What goes on Shanghai’s postal system we will never know. But these packages are a right state.
My B&B shipping box was damaged as well, but thank god the one click survived it. :notworthy:
Lots of bubble wrap used......but to be honest a couple of layers extra wouldn’t hurt!

A release don't have to be instant sell out to be a success with distributors/retailers
3 months to 6 months if you sell majority of stock you have a release that has done well

Blufans are missing out on lot's of sales with some of their releases and the website shop not been of much use don't help

Plain Archive exclusives most releases bar a few exceptions sell out eventually
If you have a release that takes 3-6 months to sell out all stock it's the same profit as if you sold out in 1 day

It's resellers that like having a release that sold out quickly

Nova most of their exclusives releases sell out some quickly and some take a few months with a very small amount that did not do well

Again if you have a release that sells out in 1 week or 3-6 months and all units was purchased at full price you made the same profit

Nah I don’t repeat myself everywhere I go, seems exhausting.
No one said it was forbidden to be on two forums.

FA WEA still in the few thousand quantity range

Possible reasons for FA WWA to be in the 500 range would be

1) They unable to secure that many quantities of the WWA steelbook anymore

2) The last few FA WWA releases remained unsold / in stock for a long time. Maybe instead of creating a hype, it's more of a cost cutting measure for them
