Even that funky pyramid case from the UK

Considering this is exactly the same disc as my Ultimate Edition BD (which cost me £4 with slipcase) I'm passing on this one

I'm liking these smaller print runs, keeping us on our toes and making things very interesting.

I don't believe that this is a marketing ploy. I think people just pre-order so many extra copies and just start cancelling once they feel comfortable. That can really add up if people order 5, even 10 extra copies.

Personally I think they should limit pre orders to maximum 2 per customer. I personally only ordered 1.

Half-asleep while pressing various buttons to order this. But I just checked and my order is in.

As for artwork, the back is not too hot but its overall look is the best amongst all of the available Stargate steelbooks. Don't really like how the CAN version looks.

If zavvi or any other company selling steelbooks only allowed a small amount of sales per person they would have a huge inventory in their warehouse they would have to sell at a loss later down the road when they don't sell out. They want to move inventory as fast as they can. Sitting on it only hurts them. Bulk orders is what pays the bills.

You might be partially right but Zavvi legitimately does the fake sold out but we have "x" amount of copies on reserve to entice people. They've been doing it for a long time

But I was expecting this to be a fast sell out and I Nearly Forgot to Order
I got my Order in 07:45PM
I Had just Finished my shift at 7.00PM and remembered to order

Lucky I did remember to order

For any of you who missed out it will be back as Zavvi will cancel any bulk orders when its a very Limited Release of 2000 Print Run
Bulk Orders Cancelled are very large Bulk Orders but remember they can if needed cancel any order if its more than quantity of 5 (Zavvi terms and conditions of sale)
Most customer are not affected by this usually most customers don't order more than 5
Usually its Third Party Sellers and online eb Sellers who end up getting there orders cancelled as there the ones who do most of Bulk orders

I'm sure you will see announcement in this forum as to when its back available to order
But do remember it wont last long when it comes back
You will also see normal cancelled orders due to declined credit cards and just customers cancelling near to release date become available about a week before release date or just after

This is a popular film and great Sci-fi film
The Artwork looks good
The Extras are fantastic and are better than the USA Release

There is no proof of this, jungle book and little mermaid highlighted zavvi extending the print run and it failing badly. This could be a case of zavvi showing sold out and cancelling thrm bulk orders to make it available again
