Same! I've tried limiting what I buy to just Star Wars, but there's just so much cool movie stuff out there!

They know there is money to be made there otherwise SS wouldn't be working on the McQ line, not to mention how well Talon, Malgus, and the whole Mythos line was received. There needs to be a company who wants to take that on because I think with the new movies, and all the new characters, that is the only way we'll get'em.

There are so many HT characters I'd like from every license they have. I still think their Kenobi is one of the best looking items I've seen done of him from any company.

You should totally get that Wonder Woman PF you were thinking about awhile ago!

There are so many HT characters I'd like from every license they have. I still think their Kenobi is one of the best looking items I've seen done of him from any company.

I'm shocked we haven't seen a new Talon PF yet. I'm thinking once LFL opens the license rights back up to the Legends stuff we might get to see one. SS knows they could make a fortune on another one of her.

I'm not. If there's anything SS has tought us is that they only do copies of main characters for PF's, and most likely from the OT.

Man, I'd love to get all the DC ladies. They looks spectacular, but again opening up a whole new area in collecting, and my wife would probably finally draw the line, LOL!

Congrats on ordering Black Cat! I'm kicking myself now for not getting the M.J. comiquette. I really really liked her, but for whatever reason didn't pull the trigger and now she's going for almost twice the price on eBay.

I'm not. If there's anything SS has tought us is that they only do copies of main characters for PF's, and most likely from the OT.

I guess I just figured SS would milk stuff they know they could make money on. From what I've seen and heard they pretty much have variants planned for every one of their DC pieces so far with practically the same sculpts and bases but with changed hands/faces/paint jobs etc. I could see SS start to do this with their SW stuff eventually, but they haven't yet minus the Stromtrooper variants. Talon would be a good candidate for this, but so would half of their SW stuff.

Darkseid looks freaking amazing! I know you'll be getting him for sure right? Should look incredible next to Supes. I think the Freaks board is pretty off on this piece, I think one of their main complaints is his lack of laser beam eyes. But whatever, I still think this thing looks awesome!

Yeah, Marvel and DC seem to be getting a ton of attention right now. I guess it could be worse for SW fans though (LOTR for instance).

There was just too much going against it for me to talk myself into it. The price was just ridiculous, his proportions looked odd without the cloak on, the saber hilt was like a tree trunk, but worst of all there seemed to be quite a few QC issues I had seen with its electronics and Sideshow basically was telling customers to pound sand after they dropped 2 grand on a statue. I could have looked past most that if it was a grand, but at 2 grand I demand perfection, and a company to go above and beyond their usual customer service when they have the balls to charge that amount for one freaking statue. There is still a part of me that really wants it just because its Maul, but if I really want a big Maul statue I can always find a lifesize Pepsi one on eBay for like half the price of the LSF.

Darkseid will look badass, but you're right I'm sure he won't comfortably fit in a Besta, especially with doors. Man I wish they'd chill out on their PF sizes. I think I'm going to pass on PFs from this point forward that are over 24" tall unless its an absolute must have character.

Last I saw, WETA was making Hobbit stuff, but that's about it.

Yeah, I kinda, just a little, regret not getting the LSF Maul, but feel I made the right choice. Vader on the other hand. I feel they really missed the mark on the LSF Ben. The paint app looks nothing like what was first shown when they announced this figure. If SS can get their act together, I think they could really knock out an awesome Qui-Gon LSF with real hair.

That original paint app on Ben was mind blowingly realistic looking, but I had a feeling SS wouldn't be able to do it in production and they couldn't. I still think overall it looks pretty good, just not $2K good. I think the proportions look better on Ben than Maul from the pics I've seen. If they could do real hair with Qui-Gon that would be cool as long as they pulled it off right.

LOL! Thats definitely a perk of non-married life.

I know. SS just wants to keep propping these icons up higher and higher. I usually wouldn't complain about getting more of something I pay for, but an overly dramatic 8 inch base usually isn't necessary. I wish SS would start including the option of a smaller flat base as well for collectors that just don't have the room for these things.

The only thing I used to collect back in the day was Hasbro Star Wars stuff. There used to be somewhat high end Star Wars stuff that you could buy through the Star Wars magazine or their fan club but I never bought any of their stuff. But then again if I would have had a job back then I probably would have, but I was only in grade school LOL.

There is just no way possible the LSFs are worth 2 grand. There is literally no way I can figure out how Sideshow is charging what they are. I've said this before but a huge part of that goes in their wallet. I'm thinking they probably bank a grand or more on each one sold. Its the exact same stuff that goes into PFs, its just twice as much. Not even anymore considering how much polystone is going into the new huge ass PF bases.

I've said this before but a huge part of that goes in their wallet. I'm thinking they probably bank a grand or more on each one sold. Its the exact same stuff that goes into PFs, its just twice as much. Not even anymore considering how much polystone is going into the new huge ass PF bases.

Thanks man! I, almost, kinda wish my chicken Maul sabers lit up now. Oh well. Yeah, the Savage PF is amazing! The armor and tailoring is awesome! Takes me back! The sculpt is about as perfect as you can get with this size. Definitely a winner!

Right, the exact same stuff as PF's, just larger, and honestly shouldn't be more than $1200 IMO. On the bright side, you do get a larger statue from SS than you would from Cinemaquette for about the same money.

Thanks man! I, almost, kinda wish my chicken Maul sabers lit up now. Oh well. Yeah, the Savage PF is amazing! The armor and tailoring is awesome! Takes me back! The sculpt is about as perfect as you can get with this size. Definitely a winner!

Right, the exact same stuff as PF's, just larger, and honestly shouldn't be more than $1200 IMO. On the bright side, you do get a larger statue from SS than you would from Cinemaquette for about the same money.

Savage will still look great next to the chicken leg Maul regardless. And like you said how often do you really turn the sabers on. I thought I'd turn mine on a lot more than I actually do. I swear I turn mine on for like 5 mins a month Lol.

Cinemaquette is really out of their minds on prices. Their Vader looked good but again, not that good for the price. And their Indy looked pretty awful for 2 grand.

That would be cool if they gave you an option to use a smaller base, but you have to admit the Batman base is pretty sweet.

I forgot all about the Star Wars magazine, I had a subscription to that in high school! I also collected the Hasbro stuff, had an entire wall covered in carded figures.

I didn't know you had any MR stuff, don't think I've seen pictures of those. I would love the Luke ROTJ hilt. Who made the ships on top of your Bestas?

I have to admit both of their Batman PFs bases are amazing. But Keatons is so huge and deep I'd need a Stuva to fit it instead of a Besta. I'll be keeping mine on top of my dresser for awhile until they announce more Burton Batman movie PFs.

The Seinfeld Superman I think is actually a Randy Bowen statue. I always liked that one.
