Oh dang that Slave I is awesome! How long did that take you to put together? I always see Poe's x-wing on display at Target and have to keep telling myself I don't need more stuff, ha ha. I'm excited to see what else you get this week.

You are correct on Jango's color. I found a picture of the costume on display. I've also seen pictures of Han's jacket on display and know that it is actually brown, but it looks blue to me in the movie! They actually sent out a $25 coupon code for the 1/6 Jango today...I was debating it, but think I'll wait and hope Hot Toys eventually makes one. I mean they already made Boba, how hard would it be to make Jango?

It took me 2 days I think. I worked on it for a few hours each day. Poe's X-Wing is awesome, you should totally get it!

I think it must have been the way the sunlight reflected off of the snow and then off of the jacket, because I agree his coat does look blue a lot of the time.

If that was the exclusive I'd say go for it. That Temuera Morrison headsculpt they did for the EX was one of the best 1:6 headsculpts SS has done to date IMO. Its just as good as some of HTs best stuff I think.

I was really hoping for a swap out unhelmeted option for the Jango PF. SS did a killer sculpt for their 1:6 Jango, and I would have really loved for them to carry that over for quarter scale. The overall piece looks pretty cool though, but again it isn't necessarily the base or pose I would have wanted.

I should finally have an update for my SW collection next Wednesday, as long as it gets here as scheduled.

I've honestly never tried fitting my Boba into the Besta. I could give it a go if you need a visual aid to see if Jango will fit. He's just sitting on my tv speaker right now.

I wonder if Harrison, or Kershner ever realized how big a deal people made about Han's jacket lol.

I actually have a couple SW things coming this week. One isn't a collectible at all, but its something I've always wanted to own. The second is a PF.

I also got the Lego UCS Slave 1 a couple of weeks ago. I've wanted to get this thing for about a year and a half now.

I don't collect Lego at all, but I think they are my favorite toys of all-time. I think I'll be in my 60's and will still pick up the occasional Lego set for myself .



The blue does look cooler, but I think its more of what people wanted to see, or think they saw, instead of what was on screen. Just like Han's brown jacket that people think is blue .

Here is a screen grab of Jango, you can actually see the huge different between the blue that is on his helmet and the purple color of his suit.

I doubt Hot Toys would ever do a reissue. This picture doesn't look as bad as that first one. It actually appears they got Rey's height close to correct as she should be slightly taller than Leia, but they put Finn on way too big of a body. It almost looks like they used the Arnold Schwarzenegger body on him!

I can't believe there would be anything either, although another TFA PF would be a surprised welcome. I think they will at least make Rey and Phasma (eventually, like in 2025).

That would be cool if they had a PF Rey there. I'm excited to get my Hot Toys Rey and BB-8! Not sure if I'm going to order Finn Schwarzenegger unless someone on the Freaks board comes up with a fix for his height (I'm sure someone will since they are good at that stuff).

It might not be that long of a wait. It seems they've been churning out statues at a crazy rate lately. Heck they've announced FIVE DC PFs in the last few weeks and they have come out with quite a few Star Wars PFs this year as well (Sandtrooper, FO Stormtrooper, Kylo, Maul, Jango).

That doesn't look so bad. Still, Finn doesn't look like the earlier pics. I still want to get these though. Too much $$$ on the bike recently though. I could have bought 4 PF's FFS!

Still haven't made it up there. We are planning a ride to Seattle for a photo and video shoot this summer. Just not sure when.

I'm always trying to get people to spend money on stuff they don't need LOL.

BTW, not sure if you guys saw this or not, but some of my fellow riders did a "take a pic of your bike with a statue challenge." The goal was to find a statue and get a pic of it with your bike. Thankfully, I have a room full of these things so I didn't have to go very far, LOL!

Ha, you know you're a collector when you calculate how much something costs by thinking about how many statues it's costing you! I had to get my A/C fixed and ended up with a hefty vet bill and was thinking "dang I could have bought 3 Hot Toys figures with that money."

As much as I rip on Sideshow I kind of feel like some of their stuff lately has been shipping out sooner than the ridiculous waits we were having before (Commander Cody for instance). Their Spiderman PF came out pretty quickly after going up for order and my Aquaman PF is already shipping next month (I guess it's been 10 months, but that's not terrible).

That would be really awesome and surprising if they have Rey there. SS already surprised me with all of the SW PFs they just dropped, but I would think they must have blown their wad when it comes to SW after all of those releases.

I think his pants look a little short and they could go over his boots. I'm not sure, I'm hoping someone comes up with an easy fix for people like me who don't know how to do mods.

With the exception of R5, I've had those other SS figures for probably close to a year and this is the first time I've opened any of them (except R2, I took him out of the box when I got him).

I actually have another 1:6 SW piece that has never been displayed and really needs to be opened. I'll work on that one tomorrow.

Well those Sideshow figures were $100 less than a Hot Toy figure, but you can tell the difference just by looking at the whiteness of the "shiny" clone trooper and the flame trooper. I still think they're nice though, I think it's awesome that Sideshow is doing all of the bounty hunters. That will be a cool setup, I hope they have them all on display at SDCC.

Did you see Hot Toys put up the Resistance outfit Rey today? I figured that was coming. I think that figure is the equivalent of Yavin IV celebration Luke. Must resist, but so weak...

Are you planning to get all of the bounty hunters? That would make for one epic display! How is the quality of the actual SS figures themselves, like the body? I remember reading a lot of issues with some of SS's DC 1:6s that would break easily, or were already broken when they were received. I was always pretty impressed with the quality of the plastic on my HTs.

I really like that Rey outfit! At least a lot more than her rag outfit. That definitely is the equivalent of Luke's ceremony outfit though. Speaking of that outfit, I was never a fan of Luke's yellow jacket, but I really like the way the rest of the outfit looked. Its possible I like it even more than his ROTJ outfit.

I wish they could have incorporated that look into one of the movies. The yellow jacket just killed it for me.

LOL! Sorry man. I tell you what though, my wife and I are discussing getting one of those tiny houses. Not sure if you've heard of them, but it would mean all my SW stuff would have to go. I would probably just get a handful of HT SW figures to display and that is it. Anyway, if it does happen, I'd be more than happy to sell you the Mythos Maul for retail. Speaking of that outfit, I was never a fan of Luke's yellow jacket, but I really like the way the rest of the outfit looked. Its possible I like it even more than his ROTJ outfit.

I wish they could have incorporated that look into one of the movies. The yellow jacket just killed it for me.

Oh the bodies on those two SS figures kind of suck. I had a hard time getting them to stay upright without a stand and when I came home last night both clone troopers were lying face down. I will have to think about the bounty hunters, I really would like to get them all.

Luke's yellow jacket is boss, I don't know what you're talking about. That outfit is okay, it looks more like something Han Solo would wear though. Nothing will ever top the black ROTJ outfit in my eyes.

LOL! Sorry man. I tell you what though, my wife and I are discussing getting one of those tiny houses. Not sure if you've heard of them, but it would mean all my SW stuff would have to go. I would probably just get a handful of HT SW figures to display and that is it. Anyway, if it does happen, I'd be more than happy to sell you the Mythos Maul for retail. Like I said though, IF that happens.
