LMAO!

Oh that would be interesting to see XM do 1/3 scale. The only downside is their quarter scale stuff is twice the price as SS for us in the U.S. after import fees. I'd hate to see what 1/3 scale SW stuff would cost.

I'd really love to see a new Tatooine Maul PF. But knowing SS they'd just plop him on top of an 8 inch sand dune base and he would be like 30" tall overall lol. I'd like to see what XM could do with him if they get the license. Or a 1/4 HT for that matter.

Have you seen the HT ROTS 1/4 Vader? HT is giving some prequel love in quarter scale.

OMG!!!! I wish I was there. Thanks for the link buddy! :)

Oh and have you seen the new Battlefront trailer:

OMG! I was totally just about to post that! LOL! Man, that looks awesome! Definitely getting a PS4 by November now.

Nice to see HT's Vader too! Man that looks good!

Tatooine Maul? Just make the base the ramp on the Queens ship, and it can be 40" tall. ;)

I totally can't wait for this game. It looks so beautiful!

Could this be the quarter scale Vader I end up going with? I could just see them going with a really nice pretty freshly burnt up Hayden head under the helmet.

LOL!

I know! LOL! Man, it has been an exciting couple days for trailers. I'm sure you've seen the new Batman vs MOS trailer, but just in case:

Now that would be sweet! I imagine they'll have a few switch out options for the portrait. Burnt up Hayden is a must! I'm still getting the PF, but will be getting the HT one also. The helmet looks more like from ROTS anyway as where the PF is from ROTJ, IIRC.

Okay now this is really going to shock you because you know how much of a Batman fan I am, but I'm not liking the Batman vs. Superman movie so far. My main issue is this version of Batman was ripped out of Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns. Which 85% of Batman fanboys think is the greatest comic ever, but I'm just not one of them. I'm also getting a bit tired of DCs overly realistic and bleak take on stuff from Nolan and Snyder. I still want the movies to be dark but I want them to have more fantasy and fun to them and have them move at a quicker pace like Marvel is doing. That's probably why Burton's are still my all-time favorites.

I would usually be more upset if a Batman movie wasn't looking how I was hoping, but the freaking Star Wars trailer delivered on absolutely everything I was hoping it would! I must have watched it at least 50 times so far.

What I think would be absolutely awesome for a Vader fig or diorama would be his meditation chamber. That way you could have it partially open showing off his messed up head and it would make sense. And it would probably look really awesome as well.

Ahh, I see. Didn't know that. I don't know much about Batman outside of the movies, the old Adam West Bats, and the animated series from the 90's. Maybe that is a good thing, LOL! I totally got goosebumps watching that trailer, but, yeah, the SW trailer is on a whole different level. I'm f'n excited for both movies though. MOS, for me, is the best Superman movie ever made, and I'm glad to see it continuing.

Vader in his meditation chamber would be awesome whether it is 1/4 or a 1/9 scale dio! I would also like to see a dio of Vader being put together like in ROTS. Speaking of ROTS, found out today that the 1/4 HT Vader is ROTS based! So awesome! No doubt it will have a Hayden portrait! :)

Ok, it just got real!

I love the Batman animated series. Its probably my favorite cartoon of all-time. Also really loved the X-Men 90's series. I'll hopefully change my tune about the Bvs.S movie once I see it, I actually have been keeping up on it way before the trailer hit, so when it did I already kinda knew that I wasn't going to be too thrilled with it. But we'll see if I come around on it.

I actually put that the HT was from ROTS back with the pic but you must have missed it LOL :). I figured you would go insane for a 1/4 ROTS Vader. If it comes with a really nice Hayden head I might go for it. I've also seen some videos and pics of the Vader PF at Celebration, and I've got to say it does look extremely impressive. Decisions, decisions lol.

Oh thats cool. I still haven't caught up on the first season of Rebels yet. Is it on Netflix yet?

I'm right there with you on the BvS movie trailer, I felt no excitement or anything viewing it. I also wasn't a huge fan of The Dark Knight Returns comic (or The Watchmen for that matter). I am a huge Superman fan, but didn't care for Man of Steel and am not looking forward to them building off of it. I mainly read DC comics and I'm not excited for anything they are doing in their movie verse (I do love Arrow and Flash however). Funny thing is I don't care much for Marvel comics, but I love their movies. I already have my Avengers ticket! If only Disney had purchased DC instead...

Have you made your 1/4 vs. 1/6 decision yet? Ha ha...I saw the HT Sandtrooper picture, looked amazing.

Hey Lou, does Clone Wars get more interesting? I've only made it through the first 3 episodes of the first season so far (I'm watching that and Fringe on Netflix right now), but they seem to be stand alone stories. Are there ever larger arcs during the seasons?

Yup, not a fan of The Watchmen either. I didn't read the comic, but I did see the movie and it did nothing for me. Wasn't really big on 300 either. I'm just not a Snyder fan. I do kind of enjoy Man of Steel but that is mainly because I really liked Michael Shannon's performance as Zod. The rest of the movie I'm just kind of meh on. For me Reeve will always be my favorite Supes. I also liked Dean Cain's Supes from Lois and Clark The New Adventures of Superman with Teri Hatcher (they're real and they're spectacular).

I'm still lost with how I wanna collect SW stuff. I think it will mainly come down to whats available when I'm jonesing for a new item and if I don't have other stuff on order. I'd say I'm leaning towards the new Vader PF the most, but the 1/4 HT Vader is tempting too. I've got tons of time either way.

Yeah I didn't like 300 either, Snyder just doesn't do it for me. That movie has the same problems as Man of Steel for me. It's a lot of action, but it lacks any character/storytelling depth. There was just nothing in either of those movies that made me care for the characters. The Watchmen movie was extremely faithful to the comic so I doubt you'd like the book either.

Reeve definitely is the best Superman so far, I didn't mind Routh but the script for Superman Returns was weak (although I actually prefer the action sequence where he saved the plane in Superman Returns over all of the video game/Michael Bay like action in Man of Steel).

No, it isn't on Netflix yet. Hopefully soon so I can catch up! Looks like not only will Vader and Tano be in next season, but so will Rex, and I think I saw Wolffe behind Rex in the trailer along with a bunch of other Clones! Hondo is back, and it looks like there may be 2 new Inquisitors, one male one female. Finally excited for this show!

Oops! Must have missed it, LOL! Yeah, nice to see ROTS get represented.

IIRC, the first episode from Season 1 is with Yoda and three Clones. After that one, it is a 3 part Malevolence arc. Later, there is a two parter featuring Aayla Secura that's pretty good, and another two parter focused on the Blue Shadow Virus. The season ends with the Ryloth 3 parter. Not the best season, still good though, but Trespass, IMO, was just awesome, as was Hostage Crises (the last episode of the season). Season 2 really picks up alot! The Geonosis 4 part arc starts off with Landing at Point Rain which is my favorite episode of any season. There are a few slow episodes, but some of those do have important info going forward, so good to just watch.

I wouldn't say I'm a Snyder fan, but I have liked everything he's done since Dawn of the Dead. For me, MOS was as perfect as you can get for a Superman movie, and seeding it, for me, as the definitive Superman film.

Speaking of Avengers 2, yeah, I'm excited!

You have summed up Snyder pretty perfectly there. He is a very visual director but I personally always thought he was light on substance. And extremely light on humor and fun. I hate to say it but Nolan is kind of the same only instead of extreme visuals he just grounds everything in over-realism while being light on humor and fun. Thats mainly why I think Marvel is kicking DCs butt lately with movies. I did hear the Watchmen movie was one of the most faithful movies ever when it comes to comic adaptations which is basically why I based my thinking of how his Batman would turn out when I knew how obsessed he was with The Dark Knight Returns. And now seeing the trailer I was right. I think the fans of that comic will absolutely love it when it comes out, but the ones that don't hmmmm..... lol. Casual fans will probably like it too.

I have a feeling that Rebels will be like TCW. It will just keep getting better as the seasons go on. I'll definitely jump in once it hits Netflix.

I used to like MOS quite a bit when it first came out but it just kind of faded for me. The same thing happened with Nolan's Batman movies. But I still think its excellent that they have so many different interpretations of super heroes out there. And they will continue to so there will always be something for everyone. Superman, Batman, Spider-Man, The X-Men and The Avengers will all probably have many different interpretations out there for many years to come as they are guaranteed cash machines for the studios. I personally try to not put other fans down when they are really into stuff that I'm not, because its been done to me in the past which is never fun. That is unless they are a George Lucas basher, then I want to punch them in the balls :D.

I'm stoked for the Avengers sequel as well. For me Marvel Studios are almost at a point where they can do no wrong, and now they have Spider-Man arriving in their movies as well. Man thats going to be epic!

LMAO! Exactly! But, yeah, there is something for everyone, and thankfully if we don't like one version of it, there's always another that can be enjoyed. I like all the Batman movies (yes, even the two with Chris O'Donnel who I cannot stand) for different reasons. Same with all the Supes movies.

You comment regarding Spiderman, is that no longer a Sony thing? Or, are they letting the character loose to be in other Marvel movies?

Oh man, you didn't hear about this yet? So basically Sony is now letting Marvel Studios use Spider-Man in their upcoming movies, and Kevin Feige (who is Marvel Studio's President and the main reason why Marvel Studios movies are so awesome) is now being brought in as a producer on all future solo Spider-Man movies. The solo ones will still be distributed by Sony but its now going to be rebooted yet again, but they won't be doing an origin story yet again. But it will be Peter Parker in high school and the whole thing will be recast again. The first new solo Spider-Man film is set for release on July 28, 2017. But from what I've heard this new Spider-Man is supposed to have his first appearance in Captain America: Civil War, which was basically going to be Captain America vs. Iron Man. But now they are going to be able to make the story much more similar to the comics where Spider-Man has a pretty big part in that.

OMG yes!!!! So, no Garfield in the reboot, but are they making another Amazing Spiderman with him? I wonder how long until Fox let's them use Wolverine?

Nope, Garfield is completely gone. There won't be anymore Amazing Spider-Man movies. He made some comments about the last one that Sony wasn't too happy with so I think they are both kind of happy to be parting ways. Fox has got X-Men: Apocalypse coming out and then 1 more solo Wolverine movie and possibly a Gambit movie. I think once all thats finished I'm hoping they can work a similar deal out with Disney and then we can get the X-Men, Spidey, and the Avengers all together in movies. If that works out maybe one day we could see Disney and WB make friends and give us a Marvel vs. DC movie. Its been done in the comics so I hope it one day could be done on screen.

Damn that sucks! He was my favorite Spiderman by far! I wonder if they'd use Jackman as Wolverine for a Disney deal. Can't imagine anyone else playing the character, but you have to consider he'd be about 50 by the time, and IF, a deal for Disney to use Wolverine came around.

A Marvel vs DC movie would be insane! And, would have to be at least 6 hours long with all those characters, LOL!

BTW, did you see this?

I did enjoy his Spider-Man performance too, but I have a feeling Marvel Studios will make an even better Spider-Man, or Garfield would have been even better if it would have been done by them instead. Feige just lives, breathes, and sleeps Marvel and gets the characters probably better than anyone except Stan Lee. I'm pretty confident that whoever they cast with Feige producing this thing, its going to be incredible! As for Hugh Jackman, he is my absolute favorite actor out of everything thats Marvel. That dude just committed his whole self to Wolverine for 15 years so far . He even said he wants to play Wolverine till he dies! Thats commitment! I know thats not going to happen though. I'm sure once this current run of movies ends they will probably be rebooted and hopefully somehow head to Marvel Studios. Again I'm sure they will do wonders with the X-Men just like they will with Spidey.

A Marvel vs DC movie would be a dream come true. But it would have to be a minimum of 2 films, probably 3.

Thats awesome that George is doing that. Now I've just got to go befriend him real quick so he'll buy me a house in California LOL:). I'll just tell him unlike the rest of the internet I liked Jar Jar, that will surely get me in .

Also, they teased Rogue One at Celebration. Here is the teaser they released, its mainly just concept footage:

I don't know if Disney will pull the video or not but I haven't been able to find any that are all that clear anyways.

And here is the synopsis for the movie:

A band of resistance fighters unite for a daring mission to steal the Death Star plans in Star Wars anthology film, Rogue One.

You and me both, LOL! I'll take my house designed as the Death Star please!

I'm sure Marvel will make a better Spiderman. They seem to keep improving with each new release. I'd like to see Jackman do more Wolverine if Fox lets the character loose, but at the same time, you have to think longevity. Of course they could always do the young/ old versions like X-Men DOFP.

I read about who was involved, and how they were going for realistic war movie, which I'm cool with, but there's a certain "spirit" of Star Wars, and I hope they can keep that. I do like the idea alot though, and can't wait to see what Edwards creates.

BTW, want to give a shout to terp for sending me this:

LOL. Death Star House would be awesome!

There was a Wolverine comic series that was called Old Man Logan. I could definitely see Hugh Jackman playing that version of him when he gets older.

As far was SW goes, I'm definitely looking forward to the spinoffs. But one of my big concerns when it comes to sci-fi/fantasy/superhero movies is when they go too much for realistic. The fantasy elements are why I enjoy those genres of movies in the first place. The concept teaser did look really interesting though.

I wanted to say I got something awesome from Terp too:
