Yeah I was a little disappointed that he hadn't read a comic on the subject matter he was portraying, he could have at least lied to me! Although I feel like Zack Snyder only read The Dark Knight Returns.

I was planning on getting the Glassvik, but ended up going with the Sindvik. I liked that one better when I saw them in person (plus it was half the price).

How were you doing bench wrong? I figured out I was hitting too high up on my chest so I had to fix that. How wide is your grip? I think that was another problem of mine, I was using too wide of a grip.

I didn't meet Reedus, but I saw him at his table. He looked like his normal just woken up greasy self.

Thanks for the video! Once I get all the doors on I'll have to try that.

Cool!

HAHA! My wife was very upset that she missed meeting him.

I kept my back way too flat. Not squeezing my shoulder blades together enough. Had a couple of the record holders at the gym go over different forms, and for my long arms, it was better to squeeze the blades a bit to have a better foundation for pushing the weight off my chest. Even by just squeezing the blades, it aligned my body better to the bench, and wasn't so uncomfortable. My shoulder joints were less involved and therefore didn't hurt as usual after a heavy lift. I am far more confident in my bench now then I was before even though I was pushing more weight back then. I know I'll get back up to the 300 mark and possibly even 315 or more. My grip was also too wide. I've brought it in alot. I would say my grip is slightly more than shoulder width apart. Right now, I'm getting used to the heavy weight again.

Yeah, when I get more doors, it will probably be the Sindvik too.

I've been pretty happy with the results from good old windex, haven't really noticed any streaking. Thats a good thing because I would be way too lazy to make that vinegar mix LMAO!

I think if they were going to bring anyone into R1, or any live action movie for that matter, from the TV shows I wish they'd bring Ahsoka. She is the most interesting character to me. I'm just not really a fan of the main characters of Rebels which is probably why I don't watch the show lol.

I can't stand parents that are like that either. I'd like to see him go full on dark side too, but I think putting a kid as the main protagonist on a show on a Disney channel, this show is catered for a much younger audience than the movies will be, so they'll probably just p**** out when it comes to making him into a bad guy. Hope I'm wrong though. With Maul, Vader and Ahsoka on the show I could see myself watching this, but if they get rid of them I probably won't be sticking around long enough to see Ezra turn bad anyways lol.

He was probably afraid if he said yes, then you might ask more questions which he could never answer lol. I agree about that Snyder thing though. He's definitely not a Superman reader thats for sure. Did you see BvS yet?

I have the Sindvik doors too. With glassvik the glass on the front of the frame goes all the way to the door edge which makes them practically impossible to touch from the front without getting prints on them. On the Sindvik the "wood" frames around the glass will really help you keep finger prints off of the glass. Thats why I went with them. The lower price was a nice bonus though :p.

Yeah, for me it is about the price too. Plus, with the wood frame, probably makes the door a little lighter.

Honestly, I know they brought them on because of the poor ratings. And, make no mistake, Ezra is slipping to the Dark Side. Him opening the Sith Holocron is just the beginning for this guy. How far they will take it remains to be seen, but I really hope they don't ball sack out on this, and that he does have something to do with the KOR or some kind of influence in the ST. Hell, maybe even R1. I would also love to see a live action Ahsoka. Technically, she isn't a Jedi, so that could be a possibility. I wonder how far they will take her. Past Rebels? Also, I have to wonder if the image of Ahsoka we saw walking back into the fallen Sith Temple was her alive or as a Force Ghost.

I bet the Sandvik doors have better glass than the Vassbo ones I have. Mine had a kind of oil-ish grease like film, minor, on it that I couldn't get off with just Windex. That's when I found the Vinegar formula, and it worked. Thankfully, if/ when I get some Sandviks, I don't have to worry about that anymore, LOL!

Gross, but hilarious!

True, if he HAD said he read any DD comics, I would have immediately asked which ones, ha. At least Jon Bernthal said he read the Punisher Max series to prepare for his role!

I still haven't seen BvS. We were planning to go Sunday evening after the con was over, but we were so tired that we chose a shorter movie with less brain power and went to Zootopia instead. And now I'm way too pumped for Civil War to even think about BvS, might end up being a rental for me.

Did you see XM Ghost Rider went up for sale today? Sold out in 2 minutes. How the heck does that happen? 999 units sell in under 2 minutes. Sideshow can put limits of 500 on some of their exclusives and they still sit there for months.

Obviously that hilarious, but I kind of always thought of Joker as being asexual. I mean seriously, what is the Joker? Seems like the only person he has any sort of deep (albeit twisted) attachment to is Batman!

Yeah you definitely have to stick your chest out and squeeze them shoulder blades. It's tough having to change form because you need to back off the weight, but it seems to help in the long run. Do you ever mix in a wider grip bench just to mix it up? I was thinking about trying that this week.

See you should have came to ECCC and brought your wife! She probably would have been disappointed how little time you got to talk to Fillion. His line was huge (I was in it for 2.5 hours) and they were ushering people through quickly, they wouldn't even let him personalize autographs to save time. He did at least write "MAL" below his signature on mine which he didn't do on anyone else's.

So I have a question, do you guys think clone troopers were evil or just being perfect soldiers when they executed order 66?

Ahh, you haven't seen the first 4 episodes of TCW Season 6 The Lost Missions. Yeah, they were definitely obeying orders. They had no choice once the order was given. It's a must watch man. Not only does Order 66 get explained, but so does the creation of The Clone Army, Sifo Dyas, and the involvement of Tyrannus (Dooku) in later episodes. Not to mention, the living force (midi-chlorians) and the cosmic force (as Yoda explained in ESB) and how the 2 make up the Force, and how to retain who you are through the Force after death in the final few episodes. Fascinating stuff man.

That's cool! At least you got that. Yeah, I imagine there were Fillion fans from Firefly and Castle there.

On loading days I switch up the grip. Especially once I get to the end of the workout where I drop and do as many close stance pushups as possible, bring my hands out, repeat, bring my hands out more, and repeat until I just drop. I did have to back off the weight until I got the new form down. I'm so much more confident now though. Even my shoulder press has gone up. Just today I did 300lbs for 2 reps on the Hammer Strength shoulder press. I've never been able to get past 270.

I wonder if it'll be the same with Star Wars when XM puts up their PO's. I hope we see something soon because I'm holding off on everything else for XM.

Damn, I guess I need to watch The Clone Wars! What do you mean by they had no choice? Was something programmed into them to make them obey that order? Didn't a few ignore the order?

I have a feeling it will be even more crazy for XM Star Wars stuff and those prices will stay high on the secondary market. There are lots of Star Wars fans out there willing to spend the money! I was thinking about waiting to see if they make a Han and Chewie combo set, but then was realizing I would never be able to afford it, ha.

I see I missed out on some Clone Wars nerd conversations today LOL.

As far as Ahsoka goes Lou, I'm pretty sure that was really her. She's way too popular to kill off without a definite death, if they go that way. I think there is going to be a lot more Vader/Ahsoka stuff happening next season. Plus if they killed her off their ratings will drop even more lol.

I gotta start paying more attention to the XM stuff. Not only did I not know GR went up for order, but I didn't know it sold out that quickly either. Its pretty amazing that their stuff can sell out that quickly especially since their stuff is region locked, and can't be ordered by a lot of countries from them directly.

After looking at some of their stuff on ebay it does seem like original onslaught of madness for XM pieces has died down a bit, just like you said Adam. I do have a feeling once their SW stuff comes out it will probably happen all over again.

Yeah, that's the only thing I'm hesitant about is the price. But, I really want something different that what I've gotten with SS, and I think XM will be it. I'm glad I locked in my source to get me these things, so I don't have to pay quite the amount some are for the Marvel pieces.

Programmed? Yeah, sorta. And the few that didn't follow the order because the "programming" had essentially been uninstalled. I'm not going to spoil it for ya. The way it all went down is awesome. It's better if you watch the everything from TCW movie all the way to The Lost Missions. It makes what happens to some characters more meaningful. There's also a scene where Anakin completely loses it in front of Padme, and, well, you gotta see it!

You're definitely right about Ahsoka I'm sure. Just thought I'd throw it out there. Sadly, even the Season 2 finale didn't bump up the ratings much.

Well the good news is the show was renewed for Season 3 months ago, so there is still plenty of time for the show to gain more of an audience. I do think that having the show on a Disney channel isn't helping bring adults into watching the show though, it would have helped to have had it on a cartoon network or somewhere else that offers some at least semi-adult material once in a while. And having Ezra as the main character also doesn't help the adult audience relate really well either. I still have hope that Vader and Maul will eventually help with the ratings though.

Yeah, no matter what they do on the show, I still can't stand the character. But, I love Star Wars and the parts that are "Star Wars" make up for it, mostly, LOL!

I just wish they would have put Ezra as a side character instead of the main one. I know I'm complaining about a kid on a kids show, but dammit, Clone Wars was more enjoyable because it didn't center around a kid :p. It also felt more Star Warsy a lot more often than this show does.

I just saw this pretty cool video that Warwick Davis posted about Celebration Europe:

Cell Block 1138, LMAO! I'm glad I'm not the only one who hums SW music when I'm driving while it is playing, LOL!

Yeah, Snips was more than just a kid. People compared her to Hannah Montana, LOL! Not sure if that is any worse than a street rat. HAHA!

Hannah Montana has to be worse than a street rat. Not sure if its worse than Aladdin though LMAO!

HAHA! I love how it went from that to her being one of the most loved characters in Star Wars. Doesn't seem to be happening with Ezra though, but his fall to the dark side will definitely make him more interesting.

LOL! I can't even put into words how much more annoying I find the Ezra character than I ever did with Ahsoka. I guess once the people who were complaining about Ahsoka saw Ezra they immediately realized how petty their complaints were. Now I just hope they don't make a character worse or younger than Ezra lol.

Not following any of this Rebels talk, but thought I'd let you guys know that I saw Batman vs. Superman today and I have to begrudgingly admit that I liked it. They did a lot better job setting up a story and characters this time instead of just jumping straight into the action like they did in MoS.

Good to hear you liked it. I know exactly how you feel with having to begrudgingly admit that you liked it, because as you know I was already pretty much planning to hate it before I saw it, but it was definitely way more enjoyable than I ever thought it would be. I definitely don't think it deserves all the flack its taking. I still don't think its perfect, but I did really like it. How do you feel about this version of Superman now after seeing the movie? And how do you feel about Man of Steel now?

I never had a problem with the actor portraying Superman and I definitely liked him more this movie. I would have to rewatch MoS to answer your second question. I still feel it did a terrible job setting up Superman and anyone from the Daily Planet to make me care for those characters. It went from the opening scene on Krypton to here's Lois and Clark and oh wait, she already knows he's Superman and now she's running around on a Kryptonian ship, ha. Maybe it won't be as bad if I rewatch it. I know I liked the first Captain America more after I got to know his character better in subsequent films.

What was going through your head during the Superman-Batman fight? I was raging hard at Batman, I seriously hated him more than I ever have at that moment!

Yeah I liked Cavill too. He's definitely not as good as Reeve to me but I still like the guy. Apparently in these movies secret identities don't mean anything because everyone knows who everyone is lol. I'm thinking in Suicide Squad there will probably be a scene that shows Joker already knowing that Bruce is Bats.

I was just sitting back and enjoying the fight. The first thing that popped in my head when they both got up on that roof was "okay, so how could Batman even possibly manage to fight Superman", and then once he hit him with the kryptonite grenade I was in nerd heaven LOL. The fight was literally one of the coolest things I've ever seen in a movie. I loved how Batman threw everything at him but the kitchen sink, and then he grabs a kitchen sink and smashed Supes over the head with it. The ending Martha thing was a bit weird, and I admit I never even put any thought to realize their mom's both had the same first name, until they made a thing out of it here. I always knew what their names were, but I was never like "oh look they're both Marthas". But whatever, for better or worse it worked. It already seems to have become the internet's running gag line from the movie though lol.

LOL! I can't even put into words how much more annoying I find the Ezra character than I ever did with Ahsoka. I guess once the people who were complaining about Ahsoka saw Ezra they immediately realized how petty their complaints were. Now I just hope they don't make a character worse or younger than Ezra lol.

Ahsoka didn't get popular until about Season 3 when she had her mid-season outfit change, and she aged a year quick! As for Ezra, I really hate trashing a character that others may like (Jar Jar for instance) but I just don't like it. I want to, but man, the face and voice just annoy me. That said, for me, that could all change if when he falls to the Dark Side.

Not following any of this Rebels talk, but thought I'd let you guys know that I saw Batman vs. Superman today and I have to begrudgingly admit that I liked it. They did a lot better job setting up a story and characters this time instead of just jumping straight into the action like they did in MoS.

Finally! LOL! Now we can talk openly about it. How awesome was the fight! And, WW!

Yeah, I buy it. Bats didn't think of Superman like every one else on earth who have parents, brothers, sisters, etc. That humanized Supes for Bats I think. And, for the record, I had wondered if it would ever be mentioned that both their moms names was Martha, LOL!
Yeah, that kryptonite grenade was awesome! My daughters favorite part of the fight was when Bats was pounding Supes face into the wall, and as Supes slowly regained back his strength, each landing blow became less effective until Bats was like, "Oh CRAP!" WW still stole the show for me though.

I think even if Ezra goes to the dark side its not going to change anything for me. I'm just too old and cranky to want to relate to or even like the little bastard. LOL.

I loved that part too. And then Bats backs up and puts his hands up as a sign begging for instant mercy just after he was pummeling Supes seconds before. I loved how quickly the tables turned within seconds.

The ending of the fight definitely worked. It was something I was never expecting though. I guess deep down I wanted a battle to the death LOL.

It almost was. Batman had'em. I can't wait to get this on blu. I only saw it once in the theater (did the same thing with MOS) but will get viewed a couple dozen times at least when the BD hits. My youngest and I watched Daredevil last night so she could get her Affleck fix, LOL! I still like that movie.
