Man, thats way closer than it looked on the video. Holy shitballs! That was a good decision taking the next exit to cool off, but I definitely wouldn't have blamed you for pummeling the bus driver lol. I wonder if the people riding on the left side of the bus were screaming when they saw your bike right next to them while the bus driver practically drove right into you.
The PS3/4 does a pretty good job with Netflix, but for some reason I seem to get more internet disruptions while watching it on that versus my computer or phone. It doesn't happen every time, but when it does I just find it really annoying and I'm instantly reminded how inferior it is to Blu's lol.
The only disruption I get with Netflix on our PS3's is when it asked us if we'd like to keep watching a show, LMAO! Don't know why the hell they did that! After 3 episodes of any show, it'll ask that.
Yeah, I wonder how many people either complained about the bad driver, or told the driver to just run me over. Seriously, I've heard people yell that to big trucks with motorcycles in front of them. Crazy!
Holy crap, that looked scary, glad you're okay! I hate getting stuck next to buses or semis on the freeway because their blind spots are so big. Of course that driver might have just been being a jackass. I bet your heart was pounding after that, close calls when driving are scary as hell!
Yeah I only watch tv shows on Netflix, don't think I've ever watched a movie on there. Do you guys have Amazon Prime? You should watch Orphan Black if you do.
Did you see Sideshow's new baseline prices for their 1/6 figures? I was just looking at their new Snowspeeder Luke and about had a heart attack when I saw it was $270! Someone pointed out that Hot Toys sell for $180 in Hong Kong where HT is based then obviously SS marks them up when they sell them here. But they were saying based on that fact that SS should actually be selling their product cheaper than HTs since they are the direct distributor...not $90 more for an inferior product!
Considering how HT's 1/6 stuff is leaps better than anything SS makes, I wonder how SS is still in the 1/6 market. I'm still considering moving to 1/6 for future collecting due to rising prices, and no doubt I'll take HT's awesome likenesses over SS.
I don't have Prime, but will stream a movie from Amazon that I don't have on Blu or DVD now and then. Same with Netflix. If I don't have the movie on BD or DVD, I'll see if it's free on Netflix and if not go check Amazon.
Yeah, he was looking right at me in the mirror as he kept inching his way into my lane. Even when I laid on the horn (that you can barely hear in the vid) he just kept looking at me moving closer. He didn't care. This video is on YT now though, and if that company ever causes an accident, it will be there to show that the company has a history of bad driving.
I have Amazon Prime but I only use it for the 2 day shipping lol. I've never used their video service. I've heard of Orphan Black but obviously haven't watch it, whats it about?
Their 1/6 stuff is ridiculous. The quality and likeness definitely isn't as good HTs and they are trying to charge prices like they are. I've never bought a 1/6 SS, and I'm not going to either. There has been an improvement obviously since they first started their sixth scale stuff years ago, but its still not worth more than a HT. Seeing how much more they are charging for their stuff than HT, I just know we are also getting majorly ripped off on PFs too. I don't think I'll be collecting much longer. PFs are all practically at $500 now and I just don't see myself spending anything beyond that on a collectible. I'm running out of room anyways which makes my decision all that much easier too.
Yeah, for me to buy a PF, it'll 1) have to be a PF of a canon character and 2) a character I don't already have. I'm really looking into moving to 1/6 for future collecting with the occasional PF once a year, maybe. I'm also moving to only having canon characters so the possiblility of selling Darth Talon, Darth Malgus, and a few others are probably going to happen sooner or later.
Yeah, it's getting tough to keep collecting. I almost feel like the collectible market is going to collapse here pretty soon like sports cards did. There are getting to be a lot of companies and the prices just keep going up. What do I know though?
I also only used Amazon Prime for free 2-day shipping, I honestly didn't even realize they had a streaming service until they released "Man in the High Castle." Then one of my friends kept telling me to check out Orphan Black and they have the first 3 seasons of that on there. It's about a girl who finds out she is a clone and then all of the players involved trying to monitor/control/silence them basically. The lead actress is incredible in my opinion, you completely forget that she is playing almost every character on the show.
If I ever get Amazon Prime, I'll definitely check that show out. Been catching up on some Bates Motel Season 3 for now.
It might collapse, who knows! For me, I've reached my limit. Buying every SW PF that SS makes at $500+ a pop is no longer something I'm willing to do. The pieces I collect from now on will be carefully thought out since it will only be one, maybe, 2 a year. And, this applies to all companies making SW 1/4 stuff. While buying all the SW statues I want is still a possibility, I no longer feel like I'm getting out of it the money I'm spending on it.
Whao! That sounds pretty cool. I'll have to install the Amazon video app on my Playstation so I can check it out.
I just don't get it. Prices and ES are both climbing rapidly. I don't get how the collectible market hasn't burst yet, considering it seemed when high end collectibles first came out most people wouldn't dish out the prices then for the stuff, but now that its 3 times higher more people are getting in it seems. Maybe its just people are so addicted to collecting they can't get out lol.
I don't know what it is honestly. Collectors new to the hobby maybe? Or, maybe SS makes enough on what they do sell, due to higher prices, that they no longer have to worry about selling out of a product. So, the people who still collect "everything" from SS are enough to keep'em in business even though the rest of us collectors are being more picky. I dunno.
