I guess I didn't think about how much stabilization is required to ride on your bike for long periods. That's probably why all those old guys ride around on cruisers instead, ha ha.

That guy may have taken steroids, I guess I don't know enough about them or how to spot people who have other than seeing them balloon up at the gym. People have asked me if I've taken steroids and I honestly don't even know how people get them! I did take a supply of 1-AD (andro) back in the early 2000s when it was still legal to sell over the counter. My lifts went up a ton in a month and I took the lowest dose, I wish I could get my hands on that again. Have you ever tried supplements outside of the usual protein/creatine stuff?

Man I remember those VHS tapes, I spent pretty much my entire summer watching those after they came out. The space battle over Endor started skipping because I kept rewinding it and watching it so much. I don't have them anymore, they got lost in one of my many moves. Plus I don't own a VCR anymore. Did they release them on DVD a while back? I forget.

I still don't know who this Ezra fellow is, I'm assuming he's the lead on Rebels...is he annoying?

Go Team Ewok! I used to always watch those Ewok movies when I was younger too! I slightly remember when there was an Ewok cartoon on the Saturday morning cartoons back when I had to have been 4 or 5 years old.

How close are you to this lake? We had someone drown here in a pond at the cemetery after a night of drinking, what a weird way to die.

Like Lou said, he looks like Aladdin. I think at best I'll be cherry picking which Rebels episodes I'll end up watching, its great having Maul and Vader in them, especially since Vader is voiced by JEJ. But I don't think the show is nearly as good as the Clone Wars, at least not yet.

I saw one of the Ewok movies at school, but honestly I don't remember anything about it. This was actually before I was into SW and didn't make the connection between the two until years later when I finally saw ROTJ.

Its just Lake Michigan. I live only about 5 minutes away. I wish I could live out by the mountains or some epic scenery like that, but I am still very happy I have the lake.

Yeah man. I love that scene in ROTJ when the Ewoks sound their horns and pop up as the music kicks in.

I get it, and I'm totally with you man. I will call anyone out when it comes to bashing the PT. I do it on FB and Twitter all the time, and usually they back off and admit that they like the PT. Then there are the faceless ones. You know, it's almost like a dummy account that someone creates just so they can go into any forum, Twitter, FB, etc and talk all the trash they want.

There was internet, but I didn't have it in '95. I remember the commercials for it though, and how excited I was to get a hold of them remastered in THX.

I would too. I would love to know what Lucas is doing behind the scenes when it comes to SW. You know he's doing something.

Ezra? Yeah, annoying is one way to put it. I'm not going to completely trash the character, but in the first Rebels episode/ movie, he was referred to as a "street rat." A STREET RAT!!!!! Not to mention how much he looks like Aladdin. :wtf:

Yeah, they LF released those same versions on DVD for fans who had missed out on the VHS and LD's. They are non-anamorphic versions FWIW. The LD's with their PCM tracks sound far better though. If you're looking for the U-OT, definitely get the DVD's because I really don't think they will be released on BD, and if they ever are it will probably still be the LD' ports exactly the same way they did on DVD.

I would say it is a safe bet that he has, and that is not taking anything away from how hard you still have to train in order to get a body like that. It takes work regardless. Yeah, I took the Androstenedione and Androstendiol stack on top of creatine back then too. Is the Andro stuff illegal now? I stopped taking them because I had planned on doing my first cycle. The day I was going to pay for it ($500) I was rear ended by a van that ruptured 2 of my discs L4/L5. I ended up not getting the cycle because I could work out due to my back, and eventually just completely forgot about the Andro stuff. When I was able to get back into the gym, it was just to be in shape and nothing more. Now, I feel that the vitamins and more natural stuff are far better than the Andro stuff was way back in the day. Like the pre-workout stuff, damn! When I take that, it's like being a godddamn dragon breathing fire playing an electric guitar on top of a battleship shooting all it's weapons in space going lightspeed! Awesome, it's just awesome! LOL! What are you taking besides protein/ creating?

Yeah, it not only requires upper and lower body strength, but different muscle fibers are constantly being used depending on what you are doing. There was a simulation online that showed how muscles are used by sportbike riders when they hit the twisties, and it is amazing how much work it takes. After a day of riding, I'm frikkin' sore! And, that's coming from someone who lifts!

I know exactly what part you are talking about. I love that part!

There is only so much I can handle when it comes to the PT bashing. Sometimes I have to purposely avoid comment sections because of how bad it can get. And it even can get nasty on some of my favorite forums too.

I don't remember when I first got the internet. I think it might have been '96. But the sound of the phone and modem connecting will forever be burned into my brain :p.

LMAO! Right?! I think I got it around the same time. Maybe '97-98. We've come so far, and I still complain about wait times, LOL!

I'm totally with you man. I'll avoid certain sections of forums for just that reason because I know if I go in there, I won't be able to control myself with bashers. Don't know if you remember, but I went to jail and had to pay $500 for knocking out a dude for bashing the PT in front of me. So, I totally get it.

I've lived all over the states, and each has some beautiful nature goin' on. I tell you what though, I follow a motovlogger who lives in Italy, and the views there are incredible! He has a video up called something like, "The most beautiful road in the Italy" and it really is. Apparently, part of the road was used in the opening of Quantum of Solace. Found it. It's long but worth a watch especially after a couple minutes in. Incredible:

Man, I really want Rebels to be good! I want it to get me excited like TCW does. A couple episodes have come close, so I hope it continues into Season 3.

That video was INCREDIBLE! That has to be some of the most beautiful scenery on the planet. The way the road was carved into the rocks in some of those shots was beyond amazing as well, he was right on when he said it was like a fable. That road was scary at times though. I'd be on pins and needles driving through there for sure.

I still complain about having to wait a few seconds sometimes for Youtube videos to load, but back when I had dial up I'd have to wait like 2 hours for a 30 second video clip to download LOL. I then when it finally did I thought it was the coolest thing ever, especially if I could make it through the 2 hours without some kind of internet interruption!

Star Wars is serious business! LOL. I can't say I blame you for it, I can get petty livid about things I'm passionate about. And, well sometimes the PT bashers have it coming. :D

I heard there will be a Vader and Maul fight in the next season of Rebels. You know if that happens I'll be watching!

I hope it happens! I'd like to see Palpatine confront Maul again. Almost giving him a chance to rejoin him again.

You know, you can only take so much. After years and years of bashers coming in and trying to ruin anything positive anyone has to say about the PT, I just had enough. Now I have zero tolerance for it.

My God, I don't miss those days. Seems like hours upon hours wasted just waiting. Imagine what it will be like in 10 years.

Glad you liked it! Many of the motovloggers I follow are all over the world and all put up some amazing stuff. I'd love to ride that road. He's put up videos of other roads too that are just amazing.

I loved that Lawless episode! I'd love to see Palps and Maul go at it again, but Palps would probably kill him this time. That is until 10 years from now when there is enough demand from the fans to have them find another way to bring him back from being dead ;).

We'll probably have the internet implanted into our brains by then LOL.

I'll check out his other videos for sure.

Did you see this: http://theforce.net/story/front/Spo...de_For_Rogue_One_A_Star_Wars_Story_169148.asp

A visual story guide has leaked online for Rogue One that gives a brief summery of the characters and ships. There are some pretty cool drawings, including this one which should 100% confirm Vader will be in this.

SWEET! Now, hopefully it is Hayden in the costume!

I was thinking something a little different. Kinda like when Luke and Vader fought in front of Palps in ROTJ, but with Maul and Vader fighting for the right to be Palps apprentice.

That would be sweet too. Vader and Maul would be my dream fight come true, but I'm sure Maul will be killed off by either Vader or Palps when its all over.

I kind of have mixed feelings on Hayden in the suit. If he did it, I think it would still be cool, but ultimately I think I'd like to see someone similar to Dave Prowse's size playing Vader in the suit and then when the helmet comes off I'd like that to be played by Hayden. I really want to see Vader unmasked again so we can see how his burned up flesh is transitioning to how we saw his face in the OT. I still have high hopes Hayden will return as Anakin's force ghost for one of the sequels too.

Did you see the First Order Stormtrooper PF pics that went up today? He's $500 and the EX is the sidearm.

Check this out, this is so us collectors!:

Man I'm going to have to see if I can track down those DVDs! I'm still holding out hope for blu-rays though!

Damn dude, I didn't realize you hurt your back like that. What was the recovery process for that? So I did some research and the 1-AD they sell now is different than the 1-AD they sold in the early 2000s before it was made illegal. It's still a pro-hormone, not quite sure what the subtle differences are. I was looking alt cycles, but don't know if I want to spend the money or risk it. Of course I really have no reason to take care of my body either...I'll have to think about it. I don't take any preworkout stuff, I don't like the way caffeine makes me feel. I took it once and was basically doing jumping jacks between sets! I'm only on whey and casein protein at the moment. I was on creatine forever then decided to go off of it for a few months then I went back on it and I couldn't tell the difference at all so I decided it was pointless taking it. The only things I've really noticed helping were the 1-AD and nitric oxide (although I've seen a lot of people saying that does nothing for you either, but the strongest I've ever been was when I was on Nitrocut so who knows).

LMAO! Right?! I think I got it around the same time. Maybe '97-98. We've come so far, and I still complain about wait times, LOL!

Wow, that's a beautiful drive as well. For some reason I thought all Europeans drove on the left side of the road, guess it's just those crazy Brits! Are there any Pacific coast highways in Washington?

Oh man, I remember that horrible dial up sound, I do not miss that! Waiting to connect, the Internet tying up your house phone (because not everyone had cell phones yet), then it moved at a slow crawl. Now we have fast Internet in our pockets, ha.

I saw that picture earlier, looks pretty cool. You know Hot Toys is looking at that picture and seeing $$$. That trooper on the left looks interesting, kind of like a modified scout trooper. I'm actually kind of getting excited for this movie. I don't think there's anything else coming out this year that I'm really looking forward to. I mean I'll go watch Dr. Strange (and probably a lot of others), but I'm not really hyped for anything.

Oh man, that was hilarious! I've always been a Conan fan since he first came on the air in the 90s, but I've never understood why he mocks sci-fi/comic geeks when he's such a dork himself. Have you ever wanted to get any SW helmets? I've been eying a few Anovos ones.

That's a lame EX for that statue. I don't really even like the pose that much to be honest. And I'm not sure how this costs as much as the Vader, but whatever.

I'm really looking forward to Rogue One, but I'm definitely stoked for X-Men Apocalypse too since I'm such a huge Bryan Singer X-Men fan, and I'm stoked for Suicide Squad as well. I've never read any Dr. Strange comics, but I remember him in the Spider-Man animated series, and I thought the character was pretty cool, and the trailer looked really good so I'll see that too.

The thing that shocks me the most is how much faster the internet on the phones in our pockets was even when they first came out. Obviously they are much faster now, but even internet phones from almost 10 years ago were a lot faster than good old dial up internet on the computers.

I like that trooper on the left too. And I still really like the look of Ben Mendelsohn's outfit. Just seeing him in that pose is making me want a PF of him to put right next to my Vader.

I've been a Conan fan for a long time too. I even loved when he had that Triumph dog puppet insulting all of those SW fans at one of the prequel premiers.

I want to get the Anovos Boba helmet that still hasn't gone up for order yet, but after seeing the price on their Kylo helmet I definitely won't be putting that much money into one of those.

I can't believe the F.O. Trooper is $200 more than the OT Stormtrooper PF. I understand that stuff goes up overtime but this just seems ridiculous. I will not be ordering this anyways as I'm not collecting all of the trooper PFs.

Oh my gosh I totally remember that Triumph skit you're talking about, I actually watched it when it aired. I thought Triumph was hilarious in high school.

I think they have 2 Kylo helmets. One is $300 and the "premier" is something crazy like $700. Both of their stormtrooper helmets are tempting at $250. It would be cool to have one and I'm not one of those people who could notice the inaccuracies or anything.

See I'm not a huge X-Men fan, I didn't go to the last one either. I actually know nothing about Dr. Strange, but I'll go because it's a MCU movie. I'll wait for your opinion on Suicide Squad. :p

The reason he looks so good is because he's dressed like Grand Admiral Thrawn!

Yup! Pretty much! LMAO! I don't wear the breathing mask, but I always wear gloves.

Yeah, saw the pics earlier. Did that sidearm appear in TFA? I don't remember it.

I hear ya man. I just want to see Hayden swinging that lightsaber again. Whoever they put in the suit won't be able to do it like Hayden does. I guess it wouldn't matter since technically Vader ain't swinging the saber like he used to. Still, I think Hayden deserves to be back in the suit. I like the idea of him being unmasked. Maybe something like what they did in Rebels with his mask sliced open or something. Since there won't be no Jedi, maybe a blast splits open his helmet.

I'd like to see Maul beat Vader, but not kill him obviously, and as Maul is about to finish Vader off, he leaps after Palpatine only to be met by Sith lightning. Then Vader finishes off Maul or Maul, yet again, escapes. Considering everything Maul has been through, I'd hate to see him die for anything other than old age.

Oh yeah. There are a few Pacific Coast HWY's here. The big one though is Hwy 101 that runs from here to California, and in Northern CA, it turns into Hwy 1. Haven't made that trip yet, but one day. I thought the same thing, but I guess it is different in Italy and a few other places. Yeah, that Italian guy's videos are just awesome. The scenery is always so incredible.

It took me a few years to fully get back in the gym. Some was due to my back, and some due to depression because of it. It was funny because during negotiations for settlement, I was still in good shape even though I hadn't worked out in months. I had to bring pictures of what I looked like before the accident just so they understood. I had planned on pursuing bodybuilding, which is why I was going to try my first cycle, but I figure that accident happened for a reason. Maybe I would have totally f'd up my body had I did that. The next few years though were spent seeing doctors, orthopedic surgeons, chiropractors, and massage therapists. I was told I would never be able to do squats or deadlifts again. They shot steroids into my spine to try and reduce the herniation's that formed but nothing worked. Eventually I was told to try and live with the pain since they felt I was too young for surgery. Getting back in the gym and working my ass off was the best thing for my back. Every now and then it will spasm and I'm out for a day or 2, but it is more rare than when I was off those few years.

I hear you on the perworkout stuff. I about gave up on it until I tried RSP's Dyno. By far the best stuff I've taken, but I only take it on weight training days. Other days like cardio or track, I just take the Scivation BCAA's. I also take creating, Beta-Alanine, extra calcium, and flax seed oil. I don't take any whey or casein any more though. I moved to Vegan proteins (trying to go full Vegan). It is pricey unfortunately, but I've noticed I don't need as much protein when I use the Vegan stuff like I did with whey and casein, so I guess it evens out. Haven't looked at the pro-hormone stuff at all. I feel what I take now is far better than what I took back then.

It wouldn't be a bad idea to track'em down. I don't think the U-OT's will ever be on BD or the next format. I'm sure that was one stipulation Lucas had when he sold his company to Disney. And, I'm sure it all boils down making sure his ex wife doesn't get a penny from those movies again. IMO, I feel that was a major reason for the SE's besides what he had in mind for them.

What Star Wars helmets do you have Lou? You'll definitely have to post a video when you take Hwy 101, I've always wanted to take a cruise on an Oceanside road, guess I can live vicariously through you!

Wow I had no idea you went through all that, glad to hear you've recovered fairly well. The power of exercise is quite amazing. I don't know if I ever told you guys, but when I was in the army I managed to get struck by a Humvee while in Iraq. Fractured my skull and my toes/foot/ankle/fibula. Guys who got to me first later told me they'd never seen someone bleeding from their mouth, nose, and ears who lived. I weighed 125 lbs. when I was discharged from the hospital and the doctors told me the right side of my face wasn't ever going to work again. The first thing I did when I was finally able to was start lifting weights again. Within a couple months the nerves on the right side of my face started firing again. They never came all the way back as I still have a crooked smile and can't puff my cheeks, but the doctors were pretty surprised.

How much does vegan protein cost? I imagine it's pricier. I might give beta-alanine and creatine another go eventually, but for now I'm just going to try to have a reasonably healthy diet.

Jesus! Both of you guys got cracked up pretty good. Its good to hear you both are able to lift after all of that, knowing how much you guys love it.

I saw the Triumph thing when it originally aired too. I felt bad for the SW fans being insulted, considering I was a lot like them, but I couldn't help laughing the whole time.

I didn't know they had a cheaper Kylo helmet, I thought there was only the super expensive one. Thats good to hear, maybe I'll consider one now. I've seen some reviews of the Stormtrooper ones and people seem to really like them.

I'll definitely let you know about Suicide Squad. I'm expecting it to have quite a different tone than BvS.

I still need to read that Thrawn trilogy.

Yup! Pretty much! LMAO! I don't wear the breathing mask, but I always wear gloves.

I saw the Hasbro black series figure had the sidearm too, so I just assumed it was there and I didn't pay enough attention to look for it while watching the movie. I couldn't tell you if its really there or not.

Yeah, Vader didn't really fight the same way as Hayden so I'd expect him to fight differently. If they even go that way anyways, I have a feeling he'll just be more of a behind the scenes driving force of the Empire, kind of like Palps was in the OT, maybe we'll get lucky and see him do a little action at the end of the movie, but I have a feeling he'll just be doing a lot of standing while looking completely dominating. Could be way wrong though.

The good thing with Maul is if he dies, they can just find a way to bring him back. I mean if they made him survive being cut in half, I think he can pretty much survive anything :p.

I get the Orgain and Vega stuff from Costco. Here are the links:

http://www.costco.com/Orgain-Organic-Protein-Powder---2.74-lbs.product.100121465.html

http://www.costco.com/Vega-Protein-%26-Greens-Protein-Powder.product.100159637.html

The Vega stuff is $39.99 and has 20 servings. It is a better protein than the Orgain, but tastes like crap! So, I do one scoop of the Orgain and one scoop of Vega so it doesn't taste so bad. A little soy milk and water, banana, etc. Each serving of the Vega protein counts as 2 servings of veggies, so if you have trouble getting veggies in your diet, it helps.

Creating and Beta-Alanine are a great combo. The pumps I get from those are amazing. Far better than the andro stuff from back in the day. Definitely give it a shot. You can get it cheap from BB.com. Try the NOW brand or Bodybuilding.com brand. Best bang for the buck IMO.

Holy crap dude! I can't imagine. That's awesome though that exercise helped. I'm a big believer in it helping and healing. Same with Yoga. don't know if you ever tried it, but man it does alot of good for guys like us. You have to take any meds permanently for your injuries? I used to take alot of Ibuprofen, Alieve, and Vicoden, but now if it acts up, I just wait for it to pass, and try to do more natural healing like Epsom salt baths, massage, etc.

I don't have any helmets anymore. Had about 6 when MR was still big, but sold'em all for SS stuff. The only thing I have is the SS Vader bust that could be considered a helmet, LOL! But, when it comes to handling most of my statues, I wear gloves. The only ones I don't bother with it are statues that look better weathered like the Rex, Cody, Tusken Raider, Clone Trooper, Stortrooper Commander, Shadow Trooper, Boba Fett, etc. Ones like Shaak Ti, Vader, Stormtrooper, etc. that have a pristine look, it's gloves always.

I'll definitely document it. I only have one helmet cam now, but need to get more with extra batteries. Then I'll be able to do something like that.

Jesus! Both of you guys got cracked up pretty good. Its good to hear you both are able to lift after all of that, knowing how much you guys love it.

LMAO! He's like that chicken from Family Guy! ;)

I really hope we see some Vader action. Like I've said in the past, maybe a long shot of Vader in the distance slicing down Rebels. And, a close up shot if they do a Hayden reveal.

I've probably seen the movie 100 times now, and have never noticed it, LOL! I will be looking for it specifically from now on.

That Triumph vs Star Wars fans vid is awesome!

Maybe I'm just thinking the Vader thing will be on the boring side because deep down I'm worried that they just won't have the balls to do it on an epic scale, and I'm preparing myself so I won't be letdown. I hope I'm wrong though and they really make it epic, and I'm hoping that this movie gets received well enough that we get a Vader centered spinoff. They've done SW books in the past that center around bad guys and they work very well and are highly entertaining, so I don't see why that wouldn't work in a live action movie.

If you wanted I could send you the Thrawn books! They are just sitting in my closet, kind of seems like a waste to buy books as I rarely re-read them.

I'm very hesitant about Suicide Squad. There really aren't any characters involved that interest me. Plus Will Smith playing Deadshot playing Will Smith looks kind of lame, ha. What do you think of the Joker design? I saw a comic book cover coming out that has that design and DC fans are not happy.

The Hot Toys stormtrooper has that sidearm too so it has to be in the movie right?

I'll probably stick to my Optimum Whey, it's cheap and tastes fine. GNC made a caramel chocolate flavor whey protein for a while, it was sooooo good. I have some creatine and beta-alanine so I think I'll start taking them again and give it about 2 months to see if I can see a difference.

I don't take any meds, but I am in a lot of discomfort/pain often. I would love to try yoga, I've bought videos but I just can't teach myself. Plus it's hard holding poses while trying to watch the TV screen at the same time. How did you get into it?

You have the life size Vader bust? That thing is beautiful, do you not have it on display?

 He totally is!!!

Are you talking about Vader in Rogue One? I kind of figured he would just have a brief appearance and not do anything of importance. I hope he shows up for the final battle or something and just starts destroying rebels!

 He totally is!!!

A Vader centered movie between ROTS and ANH or hell even between the OT movies would be sweet! The most popular character in pop culture, and he doesn't have his own movie. Just weird!

Yeah, I have the DV 1:1 bust from SS. It is in my Harry Potter closet for now. I need a proper display case for it. Once I switched over from the Tombo doors to the Vassbo's, the bust would no longer fit inside, so need to find a different option.

I started by watching Youtube videos. They have a ton of stuff for beginners for just about any length of time you would like to do it.
It really does help managing pain. Can't recommend it enough. Yeah, it can be a bit of a PITA to try and look at a TV while doing it, but if you you have a device (tablet, phone, etc.) that can do youtube, it makes it easier.

I used to take Optimum as well. Did for years. It is definitely the better tasting whey out there.

IMO, the Suicide Squad Joker design is the best one yet. I absolutely love it!

Dude, that is extremely kind of you to offer! But don't worry, I can just borrow them from my friend Kyle that lives right by me. I don't want you to have to go through the hassle and money of shipping. I've still got piles of books I still have to read anyways, including some SW ones. By the time I get to the Thrawn Trilogy it will probably be 2025 lol!

The only characters I have any investment in in Suicide Squad are Joker and HQ. So Will playing Deadshot doesn't bother me because I have no attachment to the character and I've always been a fan of Will. I'm definitely not a fan of his kid though! LOL. As far as Joker goes, after the initial shock of seeing the first image that was released of him, I've definitely warmed up to the design. Being such a huge Batman fan, I know exactly how the fanbase always reacts when someone new is cast, or a new version is depicted for him or one of the main villains. People always act hysterical when the new thing is shown, but after they see how it works in a trailer they usually start calming down. I've already seen a lot of that so far with Joker. I'm really excited to see what Jared Leto brings to the role. I also saw the drawing for Joker from the Rebirth comics and as expected fans are losing their minds lol. If Leto ends up killing it then I think a lot of that hatred will die down too.

I'm thinking that sidearm has to be there. I mean its just gotta be.

How about 2 or 3 Vader movies? ;) That way we get to see whats going on with him in between everything!

There you go again talking about that Harry Potter closet that I thought had Harry Potter collectibles in it for the longest time .

LMAO! I swear when I get all of my collectibles out of there, I'm going to put a bed in it and a Harry Potter doll. ;)

Exactly! Could we really have too much Vader? I don't think so! A Vader movie set just a couple years after ROTS. Him struggling with the suit, hunting down Jedi, Force Choking Imperials!
