A Vader centered movie between ROTS and ANH or hell even between the OT movies would be sweet! The most popular character in pop culture, and he doesn't have his own movie. Just weird!



Yeah, I have the DV 1:1 bust from SS. It is in my Harry Potter closet for now. I need a proper display case for it. Once I switched over from the Tombo doors to the Vassbo's, the bust would no longer fit inside, so need to find a different option.

I started by watching Youtube videos. They have a ton of stuff for beginners for just about any length of time you would like to do it.
It really does help managing pain. Can't recommend it enough. Yeah, it can be a bit of a PITA to try and look at a TV while doing it, but if you you have a device (tablet, phone, etc.) that can do youtube, it makes it easier.

I used to take Optimum as well. Did for years. It is definitely the better tasting whey out there.

IMO, the Suicide Squad Joker design is the best one yet. I absolutely love it!

I can't believe that Vader bust fit in a besta at all, that thing looks so big in pictures. It's the one with the removable helmet right? I would love a movie of Vader hunting down the Jedi. I need to check out the Darth Vader comic.

Dude, that is extremely kind of you to offer! But don't worry, I can just borrow them from my friend Kyle that lives right by me. I don't want you to have to go through the hassle and money of shipping. I've still got piles of books I still have to read anyways, including some SW ones. By the time I get to the Thrawn Trilogy it will probably be 2025 lol!

The only characters I have any investment in in Suicide Squad are Joker and HQ. So Will playing Deadshot doesn't bother me because I have no attachment to the character and I've always been a fan of Will. I'm definitely not a fan of his kid though! LOL. As far as Joker goes, after the initial shock of seeing the first image that was released of him, I've definitely warmed up to the design. Being such a huge Batman fan, I know exactly how the fanbase always reacts when someone new is cast, or a new version is depicted for him or one of the main villains. People always act hysterical when the new thing is shown, but after they see how it works in a trailer they usually start calming down. I've already seen a lot of that so far with Joker. I'm really excited to see what Jared Leto brings to the role. I also saw the drawing for Joker from the Rebirth comics and as expected fans are losing their minds lol. If Leto ends up killing it then I think a lot of that hatred will die down too.

I'm thinking that sidearm has to be there. I mean its just gotta be.



How about 2 or 3 Vader movies? That way we get to see whats going on with him in between everything!

I'm not totally against changing a character's looks, I'm more concerned with the quality of the story. I mean I read a ton of new 52 stuff, but the stories were just weak for a lot of it. Although I will never forgive them for what they did to Lobo's appearance!

So my friend is here with his 1-year old son...all the statues from the bottom shelves of my Pax are already on top of my bestas. It was too nerve racking!

Did you see the Hot Toys Yoda went up for $199? That's the same price as the FO TIE Fighter Pilot and he's only 5 inches tall! Time to wait for a coupon.

Yeah I know how getting behind in reading goes. I still have a stack of trades to get through, I actually buzzed through 2 this week. They are good to the point where once you get into them you won't be able to stop though!

I'm not totally against changing a character's looks, I'm more concerned with the quality of the story. I mean I read a ton of new 52 stuff, but the stories were just weak for a lot of it. Although I will never forgive them for what they did to Lobo's appearance!

LMAO! I've been in that situation, but I will say you are a far better man than me. It has happened one time where a toddler went into my room because their parent (one of my wifes friends) not paying attention. Didn't touch anything, but I flipped out. That was 3 years ago, and they still haven't been back.

You totally need to do that! You also gotta get that Boba Fett PF besta display into the bathroom that I thought of so long ago. That has to be one of my best ideas ever!

I read a book about Vader that took place between ROTS and ANH and there were parts where he was struggling with the suit, and I thought that was pretty cool. Its not canon anymore, but it was a pretty good book.

I finally finished the third and final volume of Batman Knightfall last month and I'm just at a point where I don't even want to read anything right now lol. All three volumes were almost 2000 pages in total, and there were many times where I'd put it down in the middle of one of them and had to will myself to pick it back up again months later. It took me over a year and a half to finish the whole thing, but I felt a real sense of accomplishment when it was all over LOL!

I complain about the New 52 quite a bit, but the only thing I actually read from it was the first volume of Suicide Squad lol. I think once I saw the way they were drawing the characters I had no interest. I thought Supes especially looked ridiculous with that collar and belt he was wearing. As well that weird looking pattern thing that was going through both his suit and Batmans. I never read the Lobo New 52, but I did see him and I agree that was ridiculous!

Ahhh! I'd be walking around on pins and needles the whole time praying I don't hear a crashing sound.

BTW, here is a peak at some of the Iron Studios stuff. The Avengers 1/6 dio is amazing! Also, there are a few Star Wars pics in the background about the middle of the video. I'm assuming it is their 1/10 line though sadly.

I don't remember XM using mixed media for clothing but the bottom of his pant leg looks like real cloth there. If thats fully sculpted thats pretty amazing. I'm still really happy with my old Boba PF though.

I will say that if I was ever to get a life size bust of anything, I think Vader would probably be the character I'd go for. I just looked at the pics again and that does look really impressive. I'm now starting to wonder if I should have ordered that instead of Kylo . I'm sure its a lot better value for the money.

Well he is only a 1-year old so he doesn't know any better, but my friend definitely knows how much those statues cost and should have been being more careful. After he had his hands on my Catwoman statue I moved them all out of reach. I'm really just going to have to find a custom cabinet guy to make me doors so I don't have to worry about that stuff because I like to have my nephews over.

Is Batman Knighfall the one where he gets his back broken? I think I saw those two volumes and they were HUGE! Kind of like the entire Death/Return of Superman storyline. I'm reading the first volume of Preacher now since they just started a new show on AMC and I was curious about it.

As far as the New 52 stuff goes, Justice League and Aquaman were both pretty good, Batman was solid, and Green Lantern was good (until Johns left). Wonder Woman was also pretty cool. I was disappointed in all of the Superman books. Flash was okay. Animal Man was interesting. I was also kind of enjoying Earth 2, the first issue of that was awesome.

I'm definitely going to wait for a coupon on that HT Yoda. I was expecting it to be around $160, definitely not the same price as a 12" figure!

Their stuff is pretty cool, but 1/10 scale is so small! That's basically the size of an action figure at 10X the cost! I'm pretty sure they have the 1/4 scale license, but haven't shown anything yet.

Nah, they haven't shown anything 1/4 from Star Wars yet. I can't imagine what the price will be though considering what they are charging for the 1/10 stuff.

Holy crap! The detail on that little thing is amazing! That looks like real fabric! I really hope though that IR does something larger soon. While the 1/10 stuff is super impressive, I'd still like larger pieces. Although, I hate to think of those prices.

I've now been looking at that Vader way more than I should be. I've been thinking today "okay, now how can I fit this fu**er in here" LOL! It definitely won't work in a Besta with doors so I'd probably need a pedestal of some kind, and not to mention that thing would be an absolute dust magnet that I'd have to dust 3 times a day. I could get a custom case but then again I'd have an even harder time fitting that. Oh well, if I manage to talk myself into that thing a year from now, you make sure you talk me out of it .

Well he is only a 1-year old so he doesn't know any better, but my friend definitely knows how much those statues cost and should have been being more careful. After he had his hands on my Catwoman statue I moved them all out of reach. I'm really just going to have to find a custom cabinet guy to make me doors so I don't have to worry about that stuff because I like to have my nephews over.

I've read the first 10 issues of the Star Wars comic, it's pretty good.

Is Batman Knighfall the one where he gets his back broken? I think I saw those two volumes and they were HUGE! Kind of like the entire Death/Return of Superman storyline. I'm reading the first volume of Preacher now since they just started a new show on AMC and I was curious about it.

As far as the New 52 stuff goes, Justice League and Aquaman were both pretty good, Batman was solid, and Green Lantern was good (until Johns left). Wonder Woman was also pretty cool. I was disappointed in all of the Superman books. Flash was okay. Animal Man was interesting. I was also kind of enjoying Earth 2, the first issue of that was awesome.

I'm definitely going to wait for a coupon on that HT Yoda. I was expecting it to be around $160, definitely not the same price as a 12" figure!

Their stuff is pretty cool, but 1/10 scale is so small! That's basically the size of an action figure at 10X the cost! I'm pretty sure they have the 1/4 scale license, but haven't shown anything yet.

Yup Knightfall is the one where he gets his back Broken. They released it all originally as 2 volumes, but then they released it again a few years ago as 3 volumes instead, just breaking it all up into smaller pieces. But anyways I'm still really proud of myself for reading the nearly 2000 pages considering 65% of them were just filler stories. I don't think I want to read another Batman comic for a couple of years, ha!

I saw a commercial for that Preacher show, looks kind of interesting.

I guess its a shame I never got into some of the New 52, but the really bad word of mouth just didn't peak my interest enough to get into it. I wonder if I'll get into Rebirth or not.

Speaking of Son of Dathomir, I'm getting a custom license plate bracket made for MAUL. The bracket will be black and I have the option to add red lettering to it. Considering the plate already says, "MAUL" I thought it'd be cool to add some of the titles Darth Maul has to the bracket. So, here is a list of everything I've heard Darth Maul called either in the movies, TCW, Rebels, etc. I can only go with 2, so here they are:

I've thought of going with Sith Apprentice on the top of the bracket and Son of Dathomir on the bottom, but I wonder if that'll be "too much." Ya know? Hmmm.. I'd stick with the Darth on top and then add either Sith Apprentice, Sith Lord, or Dark Disciple on the bottom. I personally really like the others too, especially Son of Dathomir, but its going to take a real SW nerd, or Maul nerd to figure out the bottom line of some of those. With something simple and Sith or Dark Side related the causal SW fan will pick it up right away. But you gotta go with what you like. All of those ideas will look really cool

I'd love to hear what they have to say about their licensing restrictions, but they'd probably dodge the question.

I know Adam had this piece on order. What in the hell is going on with SS's QC. I'm glad they caught this before shipping them out, but there is a massive lack of communication and supervision in between wherever they are making these in China and then at SS itself. How could they possibly have made all of these without catching the problem? Kind of reminds me of the Apocalypse PF, a bunch of those had massive paint errors and rust stains, but at least they didn't ship Darkseid. I'm sure there will be more price hikes on our end coming soon to cover this blunder.

Have you ever seen a life size bust in person? They really are quite impressive! Is the helmet not removable on the Vader bust they currently have in stock? If you're going to spend that kind of money I would track down the previous one as that unmasked portrait looked amazing in my opinion.

That's crazy about the Son of Dathomir TPB. It's odd that happens sometimes with out of print TPBs. I want to get John Byrne's Man of Steel run on Superman, but volume 4 goes for an insane price. I'm impressed you got through 2000 pages, that is such a daunting task, ha. I actually got through the 1000 page Walking Dead compendiums in under a week each, but those are much easier reading.

Wow, that Black Panther is pretty badass, I hadn't seen that one yet. The Spider-Man is a little too busy for my taste. It almost feels like you're buying the base and Spidey is an accessory, ha. I don't know that they have U.S. distribution rights, I think SS just made a deal with them to be an exclusive distributor of their Marvel products. I'm not sure how that all works though.

Wow, that sucks about Darkseid. I'm sure the full payers they charged nearly three weeks ago aren't going to be happy! Mine is on flex pay so whatever. At least they didn't just send them out as they were (which I'm actually shocked they didn't). Sideshow really should just start focusing on becoming the distributor for XM and Iron Studios to go along with their Hot Toys (and Mondo and whatever else they have) and stop making their own product until they can figure it out. All they've been doing is raising prices and not improving quality, it's frustrating as heck! I have never once opened a Hot Toy and been worried about what I might find inside. It's always a gamble with Sideshow products on what you're going to get. I mean Lobo and Gladiator Hulk are absolute works of art, but then they come up with that Supergirl and I'm wondering what the heck they are doing.
