That's funny because I have no interest in the hyenas. I don't even know who they are. My friend who likes Harley didn't know them either. Neither of us have seen the animated series though.

You realize you're supposed to move down a scale when space is an issue.



Wow, $650 for a super basic statue. The arms and legs are thin and it's not even 23 inches tall! How are they justifying that price?

I'm going to collect another Pop set again. I already ordered the Hot Topic exclusive Mera. I'm going to pick up the rest of the JL as I start to find them in stores.

They justify it because...Sideshow lol. I think I'm giving up trying to figure out this company and hobby anymore. I'm still staying strong not ordering anymore SS stuff.

I saw that Jim Lee Superman. Thats going to look so awesome! I knew they were going to make him and you'd have nothing to worry about. You're going to get him right?

I'm not even surprised anymore. The real thing I'm shocked at is why people continue to order stuff from this company. Every time someone orders one of their extremely overly priced things it just sends the message to SS that they should continue their price hikes.

Is anyone still making SW props? The only thing out there that seems "reasonably" priced for a high end SW collectible is Hot Toys. And even people that are collecting those are complaining about the yearly $20 price increase. They should try buying SW PFs, then they can see a price increase that's worth complaining about .

I don't think anyone is making props unfortunately. At least not high end ones.

Yeah, MAUL will go through his check up Sunday. Plus fresh tires. I can't wait. I plan to video, just gotta find a good spot for the camera.

Hard to say. They both are awesome! I wish i had 2 heads, so i could wear both at the same time, lmao!! I had the Rebel Pilot open face helmet too, but it was too small, so just waiting on my exchange. They are back ordered. HJC is also coming out with a Poe Dameron open face helmet. Saw a short clip of it from SDCC.

Speaking of conventions, any hints from XM about Star Wars?

The statue hobby is getting out of hand! I don't know what happened, it's just blown up the last five years and prices have gone up drastically.

I can't wait to see the full reveal of the Jim Lee Supes. I'm probably going to pass on the Hush line unless they are too awesome to pass up. I'm already starting to think about how awesome a Jim Lee Catwoman would look. Is Supes the only one you're going to get?

I looked into the Anovos Vader about a month ago, and I wanted to see how he looked on a mannequin and what people were paying for the whole thing. It turns out the suit won't fit onto a mannequin of Dave Prowse's size without being cut up, and the mannequin had to be modified too. It looked like it required a lot more skills than I have. So the idea of one day having a somewhat affordable life size Vader is out for me.

That sounds like the greatest bar of all time!!! That's so awesome! I'd pay good money for that kind of experience!

I don't know. I won't have room for Hush stuff unless I drastically replan how I'm displaying stuff.

I think it might have something to do with not being able to move the joints? I'm not sure. But the one I saw had the pants completely cut down the sides in order to get it to fit around the wide legs of the mannequin. He had the pants strapped down on the sides too . It looked fine when looking at it from the front, but from the rear it looked really weird. I really feel if something isn't going to come out for that long they shouldn't even be putting it up for preorder yet.

We went into a Hooters type restaurant on Sunday where the girls were wearing tiny shorts and their boobs were hanging out...I couldn't even make eye contact with the waitress. I was super uncomfortable around an 18-year old dressed like that!

And so many people jumped on the waitlist after that they actually had to list it as sold out. Definitely be ready to jump on Superman when he goes up, the Jim Lee Batman and Superman are two of the most highly anticipated pieces out there from any company right now. I definitely want the Catwoman but at this price I just don't know if I want another Catwoman, or if I'd rather spend that on a character I don't already have a version of. I have 17 months or more to think about it. The wait on that piece is ridiculous!

I honestly think that HT Joker is about $200 over priced. At the end of the day, it's still a plastic action figure underneath the clothes.

The wait kills me. I always have this idea in my head of a super awesome display, but it will never come to fruition because it takes years and years for pieces to come out. It's pretty frustrating. I should just get out. I'm not sure what I'll do with the Super Powers line yet.

I was looking at that 1/4 Ledger Joker and I did notice the regular is about $45 cheaper than the EX. I think Sideshow is doing that now too. This hobby has gotten out of control. I honestly think that HT Joker is about $200 over priced. At the end of the day, it's still a plastic action figure underneath the clothes.

The wait kills me. I always have this idea in my head of a super awesome display, but it will never come to fruition because it takes years and years for pieces to come out. It's pretty frustrating. I should just get out. I'm not sure what I'll do with the Super Powers line yet.

I really think every single piece out there from every company is only worth 40% of what they charge. Even if they were priced at that people would still think we are crazy for spending that much on stuff! I should have gone into collecting HTs once PFs hit $500, instead of stupidly going up in scale because I somehow convinced myself it was more value for the money . I get so mad at myself sometimes.

The wait blows. I think we all have an idea of an awesome display and then after waiting for so long for a certain piece our wants end up changing. I start to wonder if this preordering process is all part of a scheme with these companies, they show something awesome and everyone orders it, but before the thing can ship then they show something else that's awesome 9 months after you ordered the first thing and after so long you lose interest in the first thing and cancel to order the second thing. I don't know anything else that's like this. When you want to buy new figures from regular companies you just go to the store and there they are. You don't order them a year or more out. I think this whole preordering thing is b.s. They should just stop that entirely and put the thing up for order when they have it available. Ughh. Okay that's the end of that rant.

Younger is better! Just find one with some type of daddy issues and you'll be good to go .

I do want that Catwoman badly, we'll see what happens. I already missed out on the EX, and I'm kind of pissed about it. I can't believe there are that many people willing to commit to dropping a grand on a piece that isn't coming out for 17 months. I need to get out of this hobby!

That Punisher looks really sweet. Is that also XM?

Someone posted that the premium format Carbonite Han barely costs more than the 1/6 Carbonite Han that's coming out. Prices have gotten out of control quickly! You're right that everything is worth a lot less than what they're charging. I think the after market is a reflection of that as a lot of stuff is selling below retail. I'm really starting to think these companies aren't making the full ES. I think they are just making as many as they can sell, and if they don't get enough orders to fill the ES they won't mention it.

I keep asking myself how the statue market is staying afloat if after market prices are taking a nose dive. The numbers don't line up with each other!

That Punisher isn't even up for order yet so I would guess two years from now, ha. The Iron Studios Vader is just okay. It's not tall enough. Vader needs to be standing up straight and be imposing. Plus I didn't like the base, that weird piece sticking out next to him makes him look like he's off to the side of the base. It just doesn't work for me. Are you a fan?

So Justice League and Thor are both out in November right? I missed Planet of the Apes, but I did go see Dunkirk this weekend. It wasn't that good. I think Kingsmen 2 has to come out soon. I need something to look forward to! I have no more vacation this year!

If people are willing to pay only half of what they were paying a couple years ago for the same statue in the aftermarket, how are they willing to spend twice as much on the current stuff? Is it twice as good as the old stuff? Are people ordering less and waiting until they can get a deal or have a lot of RPs saved up? Or are they selling two or more of their old statues to fund the new ones?

Yeah you'll probably want a whole bunch of other things by then lol. I liked the Vader quite a bit when I first saw it, but I really don't like how hunched up he looks. I agree a Vader should be standing tall. I'm not a fan of the piece anymore, but I do think its still really unique for a Vader piece.

Well I ordered another Sideshow figure, I am a bad person. I placed an order for IG-88. He's just too cool looking. I'll probably get Bossk too. Don't judge me! I'm really hoping they bow out of the 1/6 arena altogether.

I think everyone that orders anything for retail right now is going to take a hit when they try to sell it. Even if its sold out. I'm not sure who is buying all of these things at those prices, I guess Sideshow still has the loyalist that will buy everything no matter what, but I keep seeing more and more people becoming more selective on the forums. I really wouldn't be surprised if Sideshow doesn't make the full ES allotment. Maybe they never even have, we'd never know.

Ha! The wait really is the worst. Why does everything in this hobby have to be a preorder item? Can't they just reveal the stupid thing when its ready to ship? I can already feel myself wanting to launch into another rant. Once I get done buying the Arkham pieces I want you should really encourage me get out of this expensive hobby altogether and encourage me to start collecting Power of the Force stuff instead . Maybe I'll even start during the wait in between pieces.

The main complaint with TFA is that it feels too much like ANH. I'd still like them to make sure they are making a brand new movie that feels totally like its own thing. I think with TFA they were afraid of trying something different like the Prequels did and ended up playing it safe, and then the fans hated on them for it anyways.

I haven't even been following their ES anymore, have they reduced it yet? How many people are willing to drop $600+ on a PF that would have cost $350 three years ago?

Awesome! Gotta love instant gratification! Screw preordering this crap anymore! My new year's resolution next year will be to not preorder anything for the whole year! I hope I don't ever get to a point where I have to have people looking for specific Pops . Seriously if I get that bad, shoot me! I think I might just pick up the random one or very small set if I'm bored and don't have anything shipping for months.

I love a good rant too. But in today's political climate everyone gets triggered over something so I try to avoid even getting into politics anymore. Especially with friends and family because that stuff can get out of hand quickly.

I don't even want to invest in the amount that Koto's cost. I think for me it would be about trying to recapture my youth with the PotF figures. I know there is no way I could appreciate them the same way as 1:4, 1:3, or 1:2 but none of those more impressive newer pieces could give me the exact same feeling as being able to look at the exact stuff I had as a kid.

I heard a rumor their will be another Death Star in TLJ . I'm hoping that's not true. Chewie and Leia not hugging at the end of TFA is almost unforgivable though LMAO!
