I haven't even been following their ES anymore, have they reduced it yet? How many people are willing to drop $600+ on a PF that would have cost $350 three years ago?

Awesome! Gotta love instant gratification! Screw preordering this crap anymore! My new year's resolution next year will be to not preorder anything for the whole year! I hope I don't ever get to a point where I have to have people looking for specific Pops . Seriously if I get that bad, shoot me! I think I might just pick up the random one or very small set if I'm bored and don't have anything shipping for months.

I love a good rant too. But in today's political climate everyone gets triggered over something so I try to avoid even getting into politics anymore. Especially with friends and family because that stuff can get out of hand quickly.

I don't even want to invest in the amount that Koto's cost. I think for me it would be about trying to recapture my youth with the PotF figures. I know there is no way I could appreciate them the same way as 1:4, 1:3, or 1:2 but none of those more impressive newer pieces could give me the exact same feeling as being able to look at the exact stuff I had as a kid.

I heard a rumor their will be another Death Star in TLJ . I'm hoping that's not true. Chewie and Leia not hugging at the end of TFA is almost unforgivable though LMAO!

Oh yeah, I saw that Obi-Wan thing and totally forgot to mention it! I am stoked! I wish we could replace the Han Solo movie with this.

Sideshow hasn't reduced their ES that I know of yet. They ought to with their ridiculously over priced statues though! Ugh, why did I order Thanos? I'm actually annoyed that I have the XM Doc Ock on order, I don't think I should be spending that much on any statue that isn't Superman! I've heard that some awesome sculptor named Erik Sosa is going to start a new 1/6 Marvel line. Of course I almost have all the Marvel characters I want in 1/4 scale already so there's no point in switching.

Hmmm...I'm intrigued to see what happens when you get a PotF figure. Will you open them? And I will happily shoot you if you ask for Pop figures, ha ha. With a paintball gun though, I'm not totally cruel.

I am super stoked for the Obi-Wan movie! I wonder who the villain will be. In the Kenobi book all the supporting characters were brand new ones and the whole thing takes place on Tatooine. I wonder if the movie will do something similar. I still highly recommend that book if you haven't read it.

I guess that's why I'm thinking maybe they aren't making the entire ES. I find it really hard to believe that many collectors are willing to accept over a 100% increase in price on these things in only a few years. But then again they were supposedly able to find 750 suckers to drop $1200 on Thanos in only a few minutes . I'm just kidding! You'll at least be able to get every penny you paid back on that when you decide to sell it. You got swept up in the hype like a lot of people do, that's happened to me too. I'm just trying to order smarter and only order stuff that's only a few months away from shipping, and if I have to flex something to keep it to only 3 or 4 payments. If it takes more than that I probably won't want it anymore after all of that time. How much did you pay for Doc Ock? I saw that post about the Erik Sosa statues, who is he, and has he done anything I've seen? Prime 1's Superman will probably be anywhere from $1000-$1500.

I'm going to keep them all in the package. If I wanted to I could just go and grab all my old figures that are away in storage. I just want to get all the ones I had and all the ones I don't have new in the package. I don't know how I'd display them yet, but displaying loose figures doesn't interest me so my old ones will just stay in storage.

You should shoot me with a paintball gun! I went paintballing about 10 years ago or something, and I ended up shooting one of my best buddies in the balls like 5 times . That's a random memory, but it was hilarious!

Congrats, I can't believe you're sucked into another Pop line, ha ha. I just ordered the Tweeterhead Joker...and I ordered Harley. I'm so weak.

I will definitely order that Jim Lee Superman! It will be glorious.



The statue hobby is getting out of hand! I don't know what happened, it's just blown up the last five years and prices have gone up drastically.



Anovos is still making some sweet costumes if you're into that. But those are pretty expensive too. Although they seem pretty reasonably priced next to a SS 1:4 statue.

I got back from Boise yesterday. I was going to tell you that we went to this bar downtown and it was all arcade games! They even sold comic books at the counter. So I drank beer, played Frogger, and bought a comic book. Where was this bar when I was younger???

We got a place like that here. Lots of fun. Ibdont mind the young girls. I just play the dad role since most are younger than my oldest daughter, lol!

I can't decide which to wear when I go out. I need a second head!

Well I think there are new collectors coming in at these prices so they don't see the big deal with them. It's looking like statue collecting is becoming a rich person's game...or stupid people who get caught up in hype, ha ha. I just paid retail plus like $70 to my top secret contact for Doc Ock.

I have no idea who Erik Sosa is. I was looking in the Prototypez section on the Statue Forum to see some of his sculpts. The real question is how tall that Prime 1 Superman will be. He's actually floating on a large base!

I still have all of my PotF figures in the package. I don't think the packages are in good shape at this point though.

In the nuts? Dang, those things hurt! We used to play all the time when I was 20-21. I still have two guns, but haven't touched them in probably 14 years.

You just need to alternate daily. I have 4 beanies so I have the same problem during the winter, ha.

I know! This should have been the first spinoff they did! At least its finally happening though. I hope Ewan confirms he's coming back for the role soon.

I think it also has to do with an addiction to this stupid hobby. If you are already 6 characters or more deep into a line you will probably want to complete the line and the further you get into it the harder it is to get yourself out of it.

I bet Prime 1 Supes will be around 36" tall. Maybe even bigger. That will definitely be the ultimate Superman collectible for you.

I think I still have all of my card backs for my PotF figures, but I just tore the plastic blister packaging right off of it. At that age I didn't think to cut the plastic off to help preserve the card back. Its just another reason why I want to rebuy them all.

Yup, I shot him right in the nuts . We were in an indoor paintball arena and he came out from hiding behind one of those fake building partitions. He must have slipped on the floor and he fell backwards and I was standing over him and I just lit him up right in the nuts!

The Defenders was entertaining, but not great by any means. There were some cool fight scenes and they made Daredevil a better fighter than Iron Fist which amused me. I really only liked it because of Daredevil and Elektra. It was nice seeing Jessica Jones again as well, but I can do without Iron Fist and Luke Cage. They should just make a team up show for those two since they often teamed up in the comics. I never did get around to watching Luke Cage, the first episode was just too slow and boring. I can't wait for The Punisher series though! And I'm stoked for Daredevil season 3 whenever they get around to it.

Game of Thrones was an emotional roller coaster again last night. You should catch up before the last season.

I checked online and they have them available for pickup here so I called to see if I could change it to in store pickup which they said they couldn't do because of it's current "processing" status. I may just go buy one today then return the other one IF it ever arrives. I also heard the digital codes aren't working. What a mess!

He was laughing pretty hard about it at the time, so I don't think it was that bad. I can add Game of Thrones to my watch list, but we both know I don't actually watch the things on my watch list.

My Guardians is "On vehicle for delivery today". That sucks to hear yours got delayed. I think I've only had one or two from BB that didn't arrive on release day. I got both Kong and Alien Covenant a day early and they were shipped USPS. Guardians shipped via UPS, and with them I never get anything before release date. If you need it today definitely just pick it up in store and return the other one whenever it shows up.

Did you hear about Joss Whedon? What a douche! I never liked that guy.

I hope you at least manage to play a demo somewhere. I play so much less than I used to but I don't think I could live without a video game system. I need to know its there lol.

My Guardians is "On vehicle for delivery today". That sucks to hear yours got delayed. I think I've only had one or two from BB that didn't arrive on release day. I got both Kong and Alien Covenant a day early and they were shipped USPS. Guardians shipped via UPS, and with them I never get anything before release date. If you need it today definitely just pick it up in store and return the other one whenever it shows up.

Well you're lucky. Tons of people got that delay e-mail. It was apparently all of the people who ordered the first day it went up for order. I only want to pick one up because I have a feeling they won't actually ship my order and will cancel it eventually.

Wow that sucks. I haven't been following this release on the forums at all. Is it just the steelbooks that are getting delayed? I think picking it up is a good plan, I hope they won't cancel people's orders, but if these are a limited edition there is no telling what they will do.

Basically after being a man-hating feminist for years, his ex-wife just came out saying that he's been lying and pretending to be a feminist to get women to sleep with him, and he cheated on his wife for 15 years with women he works with. I've got a feeling this guy isn't going to get to do any more movies with a strong female lead.

Wow, sounds like a classy guy. Unfortunately that's the norm in Hollywood and I doubt it will affect his ability to get work. I mean a bunch of actors (Meryl Streep among them) gave admitted rapist Roman Polanski (who fled the country to avoid jail time and still hasn't returned) a standing ovation for winning an award a few years ago. Don't even get me started on how big of a perv Woody Allen is.

You know how you were talking about putting together a Superman besta? I may try to do that with Daredevil. I just wish I hadn't sold my bust a few years ago when I was short money. Those things are hard to find now! There's one on eBay, but the guy wants $1365 shipped. No way.

I sold mine for half that (I think it was $700 before shipping)! I wasn't working for like a year there and was just short money one month so I had to sell something. It's funny because I've pretty much sold all of the stuff that I held onto and that Daredevil bust is the only thing I've regretted selling. If I had known what I know now then I would have sold all of my DC statues instead!

Hollywood suffers from that liberal mental illness where they think they are morally and intellectually superior to everyone. Do as we say, not as we do! Oh, I better be careful before I trigger on all these protesters. I just got a shipping notice from Best Buy. I better calm down, ha.

Do you ever think that some superheroes would be better of killing their enemies? I mean Joker killed Robin and crippled Barbara Gordon. Bullseye has now killed both Elektra and Karen Page in the comics. Wouldn't they be better off just taking these people out?
