Yeah, I remember there being a lot of stuff with the other guys. They were all super popular amongst my fellow nerd friends in grade school lol.

I'm going to have to check out some of this douchebagery going on in some of these threads. I can't believe someone doesn't like the TFA Han, I agree that's the best sculpt they've ever done. Probably the best sculpt anyone has ever done for that matter. If that person isn't happy with that one than he must not be happy with any of them.

Well I hope you get it, but I hope you get it reasonably. If you can't it might be best to walk away and wait for another. Sooner or later this dude will realize he's gotta drop the price.

I mean I enjoyed the Death and Return of Superman storyline, it was just extremely long.

Yeah I'm not going to pay an outrageous price for it, I'll just be patient and hope it pays off.

I definitely do enjoy the really long ones, and I feel you really get your money's worth with them, but I can almost guarantee I'd never read them twice with how long they are.

So we are only 3 days away from Force Friday! I was at Target yesterday and they have spots reserved on the shelves that say Force Friday. What figures do you think Hot Toys will reveal? I'm guessing they will be Kylo and troopers. I'm sure Sideshow will be ready to reveal something 8 months from now.

I haven't looked at the Phasma PF either. I thought about it since it was just brought up, but it seems like a lot of effort. I don't even go into the Star Wars statue section anymore.

If you were a real Star Wars fan then you'd realize that you need a pre-Sith AND Sith version on your shelf. I'll probably preorder Anakin through BBTS.

Lol! I'm glad to hear that . People definitely nitpick a lot, it really pisses me off when I like something that so many people hate on. So I know exactly where you are coming from. But than again at these prices people are definitely going to scrutinize everything.

I bet HT reveals Pirate Luke . And maybe Kylo and Rey maybe and one of those weird looking characters dressed in all red. Sideshow will have a p.o. of something from VIII right after the Han movie opens in theaters.

The Hot Toys prices haven't really increased that much at all. I was looking at some orders I placed back in 2012...Loki was $219.99 and Captain America was $214.99. Star-Lord in 2015 was $234.99 which is the same price Anakin is. However, simpler figures like ANH Leia were still $204.99. If they increased like premium formats then they would currently cost around $400. The 1/4 scale market has priced me out!

I didn't even notice the Boba connection in the picture, nice!

1/4 scale is too expensive for what you get. At $400 I thought they were already insane. So you're not going to come back for any XM SW pieces? What if XM finally gets a 1/4 DC license eventually?

Yeah, I guess you're right. That display would make sense. I'm just super pissed when companies that are already charging high prices feel the need to do blatant cash grabs.

Have they even teased a TFA Poe yet? I hope they make a 1:6 of his X-Wing.

I'm becoming immune to 1:6 pricing thanks to my ridiculous Prime 1 obsession. Do you feel you are getting your money's worth with Anakin at $235? I literally can't tell because thats starting to feel cheap to me . Even today I went to look at the Phasma PF and saw she's priced at $530 and for a split second I thought "oh that's not too bad" . I was terrified of this happening and now its actually happening.

I wanted statues just because they already come posed and they were a larger scale, but I have started to think they take up too much room at that larger scale...meanwhile you have gone even bigger, ha ha.

Its scary to think about how many licenses I might have jumped into with HT. Even at a cheaper price it would have been even more difficult to get all the pieces I wanted with how much of a selection is out there. I don't think I'd have all the MCU figures but I'm sure I'd have at least a couple. If SW HTs would have been available when I started that could have really pushed me in that direction. I think another reason I picked statues is because of the larger scale too. Even as detailed as Hot Toys are they still kind of remind me of the 12" G.I. Joe style toys I used to have as a kid, and I just don't know if they are worth $200 more. The statues just seemed like an even bigger, more adult focused type of collectible. I also like how they are already posed for me, and they have a facial expression that matches the pose, instead of HT which just kind of stares blankly into the distance lol. At least their Batmans have swap out faceplates and eyes so you can change his expression to match the pose you want. Clearly yet another reason why he is the greatest superhero of all-time, and Superman is s**t .

At $150 or under it kind of makes me think about picking some up. But I don't really want a TFA collection without an OT and PT collection first. They still take priority for me. I'm telling you I'm really close to buying some Hasbro PotF figures. Like, really close!

I feel bad you got burned, hopefully you weren't the only one. That was just such a strange release I don't know why it was done. They will probably make another one down the road with an updated sculpt.

I wish all these high end things would move along quicker. I would never be able to afford them all at a fast rate, but waiting 3 years from when a license gets acquired till you actually get something in hand really sucks. I hope they at least show Maul. I most likely won't get it, but I've been dying to finally see what this thing looks like. I wonder if they'll have updated their Anakin sculpts as well.

That video was awesome! I would definitely go with the HT, the paint job looks spectacular! Plus like he said how many times are you really going to display R2 serving drinks? The Sideshow one also looked kind of chintzy.

Yeah, I just hate those Batman fans. They just single handedly carry the entire DC Universe, you know with comic sales, and movie sales, and collectibles sales. And its really those sales that keeps DC in business and it allows fans of the less popular stupid characters like Superman to even have a chance to go and buy stuff. I mean what if Batman just decided to take himself out of DC and make his own company? It would just completely suck all of the sales out of both DC and Marvel and both companies would implode, and this world would just be renamed Planet Batman. (I'm sorry for being so hurtful today . I don't know whats gotten into me.)

I feel bad you got burned, hopefully you weren't the only one. That was just such a strange release I don't know why it was done. They will probably make another one down the road with an updated sculpt.

I wish all these high end things would move along quicker. I would never be able to afford them all at a fast rate, but waiting 3 years from when a license gets acquired till you actually get something in hand really sucks. I hope they at least show Maul. I most likely won't get it, but I've been dying to finally see what this thing looks like. I wonder if they'll have updated their Anakin sculpts as well.

That video was awesome! I would definitely go with the HT, the paint job looks spectacular! Plus like he said how many times are you really going to display R2 serving drinks? The Sideshow one also looked kind of chintzy.

Yeah, I just hate those Batman fans. They just single handedly carry the entire DC Universe, you know with comic sales, and movie sales, and collectibles sales. And its really those sales that keeps DC in business and it allows fans of the less popular stupid characters like Superman to even have a chance to go and buy stuff. I mean what if Batman just decided to take himself out of DC and make his own company? It would just completely suck all of the sales out of both DC and Marvel and both companies would implode, and this world would just be renamed Planet Batman. (I'm sorry for being so hurtful today . I don't know whats gotten into me.)

I wonder if there's plans to re-release Bespin Luke. I may just try to find a loose clean version, I don't need the entire set. Looks like I need to get HT R2 as well! So much stuff shipping right now! It's like they are trying to ship out all the preorders that have been sitting there forever to make room for TLJ stuff.

I know you're joking, but Batman out of the DC universe is a fantasy of mine. I don't blame you for being hurtful, you're probably tired of me whining about Batman on a daily basis! I just don't want to see a Killer Moth before Green Arrow or Hawkman for instance.

I'd actually be totally fine with Batman out of the DC Universe. He's such a different type of character I never really felt he jelled all that well with the rest of the Justice League. But if they took him out of DC that would kill their sales so hopefully that doesn't happen. Sometimes I'm that way too . I'm going to get something but I'm not sure what yet. I'm not ordering any HT or SS stuff though.

You should get the Tweeterhead statues. They already mentioned they're working on Batman and they are doing both black/grey and blue/grey.
