Lol. Well I'm all good now anyways. Whatever it was seems to have passed.

Now you're back on the right track! I think they really are banking on people buying stuff just because its on sale.

I can't believe how overproduced they were either. The TFA hype was extreme, either they produced even more than that or people just didn't like the movie enough to spend HT prices on stuff from it. I'm sure they'll make a lot fewer of those red guard things. If they make more troopers it will probably only be variants made in a smaller quantity. I don't think they'll make anymore of the regular First Order Stormtroopers for VIII or IX.

They way overproduced those things. Too bad, I was hoping they'd make an updated Phasma with shiny armor and better articulation, but that's probably not going to happen.

Neither, you should just give your code away and go buy a PS4 . But if you're not going to do that I'd go with the HT Punisher. Bossk is cool, but its SS afterall so Hot Toys should automatically take priority. Plus the headsculpt is great on their Punisher.

No that wasn't me, but I do kind of agree with him. I think 2 out of the 3 male villains they picked were bad choices. They should have made Two-Face, Riddler or Penguin over them. Or even Mr. Freeze. Their Bane is the only one I like. I'm not a Killer Croc fan but their KC PF is so tiny its as much of a scale fail as their first Green Lantern.

Oh I agree that they dropped the ball on both Deathstroke and Killer Croc, but come on. The last few PFs that have shipped have all been Gotham characters (other than Cheetah I guess). I don't know why I'm complaining, I don't like Sideshow's DC PFs anyhow. They're all so boring.

Ha ha, I couldn't do it! There were way too many people in the gym yesterday, I couldn't have gotten away with that.

Did you get that code last night? I had gone to bed about 30 minutes before that. I'm guessing nobody on the east coast got it! They sent out the newsletter e-mail this morning with the DONTDELAY code, but it's still not working. Which is kind of funny considering what the code says.

My Nintendo 64 arrived yesterday already, pretty crazy. The graphics are much worse than I remember, ha. Or they just look really bad on today's wide screen, hi def TVs. Maybe I do need a newer gaming system...



Well it's taking them about two years just to reveal a Star Wars piece! If it makes you feel any better, they announced the DC license over a year ago and announced the 1/6 DC license a few months ago and I still haven't seen anything. The XM Boba Fett is shipping now though. I saw someone on Facebook had in hand pictures. They are on the Freaks board if you are on there?

I really want to get that piece, but I think I'm going to finish my performance upgrades on the bike, and then decide what I want to do for my collection.

I have been toying with selling of my OG Maul PF, Cyborg Maul PF, and Mythos Maul and get the new Maul PF EX. I only need one PF of the character, not 3. Maybe, I dunno. Just want to get the bike done.

Yeah I did manage to get the code last night. I'm subscribed to different threads from both forums that alert me via email everytime a new code is posted. It works everytime but I do get occasional alerts when someone posts something in the thread they're not supppsed to .

Its probably just the way its showing up on an HDTV. Everytime I play games on them I'm always disappointed with the graphics. But you still need to get a PS4 !

I'm going to have to look at the Boba pics at some point today. That thing took forever to come out. Have you decided if youre getting it Lou?

I'd say maybe sell off the Cyborg Maul and the Mythos Maul but keep the OG Maul. I only say this because it isn't worth that much anymore and I still can't even say the new one is that much better. You can get a lot of money out of the Mythos and Cyborg Mauls that could go toward bike stuff.

Well Igo weighed in on the statue forum that yet another male Batman villain is in development. Someone replied asking when we'll get Flash, but I doubt he'll get a response. I think it's funny that character selection made us both stop buying them, ha. Well, that and the Captain Morgan poses (and screwing up all the Superman characters).

Did you see Split? They are doing a Split/Unbreakable crossover sequel. At least that's what they announced, I don't know if there's a date set yet. The Incredibles 2 isn't coming out until June 2019 so a long wait still.

If you're only going to have one Darth Maul in your collection then you have to get the XM Maul! That blows any other Maul away.

Did you see Split? They are doing a Split/Unbreakable crossover sequel. At least that's what they announced, I don't know if there's a date set yet. The Incredibles 2 isn't coming out until June 2019 so a long wait still.

If you're only going to have one Darth Maul in your collection then you have to get the XM Maul! That blows any other Maul away.

I started watching the Live Stream but the codes were coming in so fast I decided to just hang out on the forums and wait for them to come in. Did you subscribe to either of the forums' code threads? I had like 20 alerts come in last night when the code dropped, so even if I was sleeping it would have been almost impossible for me to miss it. This lack of sleep has definitely made me a lot more moody and I'm not planning to sleep well the next couple nights. I'd like to appologise in andvance if I say anything hurtful over the next couple days . I really don't mean to hurt your feelings if I call your favorite superhero Superman stupid .

I just realized Thor is the 17th movie in the MCU. Say what you will about the movies, but that is damn impressive! They had a plan and have made a slow build towards a climax. DCU tried to do too much too quick to catch up.

Ha! I'm planning to still be doing that well into my elderly years . The one big thing I liked about the Tobey Spider-Man movies is they got him out of high school after the first movie. If they ever go back and do Spidey 4 when Spidey's in his 40s, I will totally see that!

I guess if you look at comic con attendance, they have ballooned up a crazy amount since comic book movies became popular. Seattle, for instance, had 13,000 attendees in 2009. Last year they had 91,000. "Nerd" culture has become very mainstream and acceptable now so I'm sure there's a huge market for statues now.

Has there ever been a Spider-Man comic book story where he's old? I've seen that kind of thing in the DC Universe and there's Old Man Logan, but I don't know if I've ever seen an old Spider-Man.

Ha ha, that is a pretty common complaint about the Marvel movies. The intro movies are definitely all the same formula.

But my friends still think the amount I spend on these things is insane, and they thought the same thing four years ago when I was buying them when the prices were more "reasonable". So I don't really know how many new customers SS and everyone else is bringing in, or if the people that are already buying these have just become so addicted it doesn't matter what they raise prices to.

Days before Spidey 4 was about to start shooting Tobey appeared on one of the late night talk shows with a beard he grew for a movie that "might or might not happen". That movie was Spidey 4, and the plot was supposedly similar to Superman Returns, where he would have had a Spider-kid.

By the way did you see this awesome superhero entrance by Batman in Justice League?

You're right! If there's one MAUL to get, thats it! I only need one in my collection tho unless I do am all Maul collection.

But my friends still think the amount I spend on these things is insane, and they thought the same thing four years ago when I was buying them when the prices were more "reasonable". So I don't really know how many new customers SS and everyone else is bringing in, or if the people that are already buying these have just become so addicted it doesn't matter what they raise prices to.

I don't think there has ever been an old Spider-Man, but there definitely has been an adult Spider-Man. Days before Spidey 4 was about to start shooting Tobey appeared on one of the late night talk shows with a beard he grew for a movie that "might or might not happen". That movie was Spidey 4, and the plot was supposedly similar to Superman Returns, where he would have had a Spider-kid.

By the way did you see this awesome superhero entrance by Batman in Justice League?

A couple of my friends collect stuff, but it's nothing on this scale. One of my buddies collects the Koto 1/10 line and Pops. Another friend has a few tiny busts. We are the crazy ones.

Apparently there's a huge uproar over the Swamp Thing Maquette because it will be made of PVC and Vinyl. I think the problem is less with the material, but the fact that Sideshow is still charging $800 for it despite the cheaper material. Everyone is worried about what Thanos is made out of now.

Bearded Spider-Man with a kid. Interesting, ha. Would the kid have powers because it's not like Peter was born with the powers. Although the movie made it seem like the Spider's DNA linked to his so I guess it's in his genetics now.

Pssshhhh...I'm not impressed. Just wait until you see Superman's entrance.

Yep, the next film is called Glass and both Willis and Jackson will be in it along with McAvoy and Taylor-Joy (the kidnapped girl from Split).

I saw a lot of complaining in the Swamp Thing thread yesterday at Statueforum. Thats a hell of a lot of money to ask for a plastic statue. I don't think it looks bad though. I'd still be fine with them switching over to plastic for all the pieces if they'd cut $200+ out of the price. Once its on the shelf no one can tell what its made out of.

I have no idea how Spidey-kid would have worked. Luckily that whole movie fell apart before they started filming. I'd still love to see a Spidey 4, but not with that story line.

I'm sure Supes' entrance will be cool too.

How are you doing on codes? There hasn't been a new one in almost 24 hours. I got pretty much my normal amount of sleep last night.
