HDN Steelbook app for iOS or android

I know this probably isn't the place to post, but this section is the busiest.

Has anyone tried or though of doing a HDN app for iOS or android. I'm thinking it would be a great idea. I think a lot of us use this site from our phone and posting pics is kinda difficult. It can have a library function where you scan the barcode of the steelbook and all the info pops up and saves it all so you have a copy of your collection. Also access to the forums all from the app.

What do you guys think?

there's tapatalk for the actual forums itself. As for the Collection Manager it is on our "things to do" this year for app. If there are any experienced app developers here tho feel free to PM.

That's awesome, I think it would be great to incorporate a barcode scan for ppl's collection

I tried using tapatalk but found it awkward to use. AVForums has an iPhone app and it's fantastic. It would be great if HDN could develop something similar.

To be fair up until very recently AV Forums used a skinned version of the Forum Runner app so it wasn't really a AV Forums app.

Having now downloaded the new AV forums app it's TapaTalk based.

Has there been any news on this? Getting on hdn via phone browser isn't that great. Wondering if any new ways have showed up since this thread was made

Forum responsiveness for mobile devices is at an all time high, we really have no need for an app.
