Steelbook Swappage? Maleficent... Winter Soldier...

Hi All,

Not sure if this is the right section (or if there is another section that I dont have access/cant see yet).

But do people tend to do swaps around here? I usually order a copy of the steelbooks I go for - and if I really like them (like the Skyfall one), I keep both, one sealed, one to enjoy etc.

However, I missed out on Maleficent, so was wondering if anyone is the in the same boat as me.

Because if they do pick up a few copies (and have a spare Maleficent) then I could swap for one of my spare copies of something they missed out on - like Winter Soldier?

Feel free to move this topic elsewhere, or tell me this sort of thing isnt really done - and ill be cool.

Could you answer me this, does this sort of swapping happen? Its not really a collectors thing, as I wouldnt give up many of my Steelies for another - only if I had multiples, so not sure if there are a lot of multiple buyers.

I only tend to go for 'proper' multiple purchasing if it means I can sell 2 or 3 to cover the cost of my 1. If that makes sense (and isnt heavily frowned upon).

I would add that Karma does strike me quite often as a lot of my steelbooks arrive crushed.

Once you get into the trade/deal section, you'll get a feel to what is on offer/style of posting etc. All what you have written does take place and a lot of successful deals have been done Oh, you might want to put your location in your profile as that helps other members
