Polyband Medien GmbH will realease on August 13 the Live-Action-Series „Street Fighter - Assassin's Fist“ (United Kingdom 2014)
It is from a (to me) unknown Studio/Distibution Company... So not sure what to expect from design and finish

afaik , they made a movie of the 12 episodes of the miniserie and this is it

didn't like the movie that much , not enough fighting , it was more about the training ,

pass for me

A decent effort, but still feel there will never be a Street Fighter adaptation better than the SF2 animated movie. A shame the BR release has been censored.

Interesting... I didn't know about this. I enjoyed the youTube mini-series. Way better than SF the movie featuring JCVD especially showcasing the moves. I liked the animated movies (that last fight where Ken & Ryu tag team against Bison was pretty awesome). I also liked the SF II V series.

Are you sure? Read that the BD for it is totally uncut for the first time.

It's missing most of the swearing (some of the dialogue is altered if I recall) and as a result has some badly sync'd audio - most apparent with the KMFDM track during the Chun Li/Vega fight. I have no idea why they're claiming its uncut.

* Regarding the UK Manga release by the way, I can't comment on any other releases.

^ Just an ass shot as far as I recall. I don't think I've known another feature length anime to have so many oddly trimmed versions out there. Right now as far as I'm concerned the best version to own is the Manga/Anchor Bay Region 1 DVD as it has English and Japanese 5.1 (English is in fact still censored: US version I believe) but also includes English 2.0 track of the uncensored English dub. Though I believe the full Chun shower scene is only present on the Japanese side of the disc.

Nope, it's more than a butt shot. It appears you've not seen the fully uncut version. It's been more than a decade and I remember than Chun li bath scene lol. SF the animated movie was indeed an adult cartoon lol.
