You sold it to me mate :scat: And I was pleased to receive it...Collection piece for me...

I found a photo I took from a couple of years back...The slips are looking their age? Plain looking?

IMHO far better in your collection and being enjoyed than gathering dust on my shelf! :) in reality it's value to me was £0 while it sat there and you offered a fair price to me, so win-win ;)

I have The Transporter 3 one too - nice steel that one :)

I sold a new and sealed copy last September for £113 ($181) on eBay. And just prior to that I saw another sell for over £120 ($193). So it is sought after and it is valuable, make no mistake. If for no other reason than its low print run and rarity.

As per my earlier post re-the price of this steel..and as the previous posts seem to have conflickting prices and value now of this one..EXCEPT for the one i pick up for $60(AUST) on ebay in the last month or so does not prove to me that this is the actual price this item commands now.(this one was clearly underpriced by an indervidual who was not aware of its true status)thus the reason i swooped on it so quick..
Re-guardless of all my fellow ninja's VERY respected idea's of where this is priced...I can only say as vrob98 posted..This is a quality steel and RARE/VERY HARD TO GET...So what ever the forum decides as to its value..
I CAN ONLY SAY THIS "TRY GETTING ONE":ohno:

Sorry TC while a lot of your post was useful, much of it would only incite a problem.

This is a rare steel, and it obviously has a demand hence what it has been selling for as mentioned by others in this thread.

Anytime a steelbook release goes teh extra mile to include things like art cards or booklets etc. then they are always going to be more coveted in the long run. It helps secure them from reprints, and also adds value to the steelbook.

I really wish more steels would get this type of premium release instead of just a nice j-card. Give me some substance anyday. Battle Royale had a bunch of goodies inside. Arrow does a good job in the UK. However, give me a nice j-card / quarter slip etc. as opposed to nothing at all.

Just to add that it's actually a nice release in hand - it feels solid and weighty with a substantial slip, like some of the better quality Asian releases. I wish I'd bought another copy from JB when it came out, as it would be a handy trading chip right now.

IMO if the steelbook is the same as all the others with a worldwide release then the slip better enhance the look of the steelbook. This is why everyone is flocking to Asian steels.

This aussie steel is way overpriced. Its no better than the CA version.

With reguards to everyone's opinion as being different and i respect that i am a little astonished at these remarks:dunno:..In which UNIVERSE is the CANDIAN copy EVEN CLOSE TO THE AUSSIE COPY..As WREK and VROB has pionted out there are major differences between the two.as far as the ASIAN STEELS go,for instance the CAPTAIN AMERICA(TW) is no different to the rest of the world except for limited print run and a different slip..which now commands the higher price end of $400..COMPARE that to this title which also had a limited print run..sold out asap..exclusive..with great artcards and is far harder to get than most of these high commanding priced asian steels.
:offtopic: IMO..Maybe we should go back to looking at the ASIAN RELEASES and QUESTION the quality of them and the high prices some people are placing on them..i feel we are all getting a little carried away with a world wide release of something and canning all but the ASIAN ones "why"because it has a little slip so hey it must be better....I personally have many ASIAN STEELS and i  them all...BUT i question the thoughts of some members (with due respect to their opinions)why is the ASIAN WHEELBARROW BEING CONSTANTLY PUSHED IN FRONT OF US.
Its a BIG World and lets not forget the efforts of other country's CLASSIC'S.

point taken Burragum ~ you are very passionate about your Australian Steel books , this I can see :scat: and not witth out Merrit I may add ;)

I read some past comments about this particular Steel book & really have nothing more to add to Wrecks & buuragum & Vrobs comments ~ they are fully Villified , constructive comments that are backed up Factually "not in Cartoon World" where unfortunatly some one lives  who for some reason , thinks that by mentioning Asian "boom :" all the time will sway Collectors to Asia ??

thing is : this steel book was never released in Asia ~ so lets just nulify that right now ? shall we

The Truth will set you free !!

this is King of Sucker Punch steel books "G2" ~ like it or not !!

lets not try to confuse Asian "boom" with Australian reality ??

this talk of Asian Steel boook supremacy should be kept to the Asian steel book threads ??

does this comments I make , really need to be deleted by Moderators Or Staff ??
