Anyone else read about the rumor that they're going to reshoot some scenes to make the film more "funny"? I don't think lightening the mood could be a bad that, as long as they don't overdo it. That might as well be a good thing for the film, but I hope the humor keeps a good distance from Marvel's constant bantering routine (which charms some of us more, some less...) and stay enough grim. Wouldn't want Justice League to be Avengers League or something, though I'm not expecting it to be that. :D Definitely want Suicide Squad to succeed at least!

I heard about this and am slightly worried they are a bunch of villians the film shouldn't be a laugh fest that's not what I want from it. If Batman vs Superman is so dark then why have this be a comedy I hope they don't mess it up with silly gags.

At least there's some more room for craziness because of all the wicked villains, hopefully doesn't mean turning the film partly into Guardians of the Galaxy or something. :D Lack of jokes can't bring a good film down, if it isn't a comedy of course lol.

I was discussing this with @cooey this morning actually. It's shows WB have a weakness IMHO and show sthat they are not 100% confident in their DCU team if they are responding so quickly (i.e kneejerk) to the feedback from BvS. If we say we wanted more fart and poop jokes in DCU, would they do that?

I haven't seen BvS yet (and something says i think i'm gonna miss it's cinema run going by the couple of weeks i'm having at the moment :/ ) But i've heard that it's deadly serious.

That explains why there's two different trailers that display two completely different tones.

It is deadly serious, but not usually too much (for someone who likes epic operas with serious acting ;)). Always good to take the criticism and find ways to improve, but this better not be some panic button decision made because of reviews for BvS, changing things too drastically close to the release is rarely a good thing. I'd like to think that it's only about some modest changes, of course we won't probably be any wiser before the movie is actually out.

This is my only concern too... they've seen the amount of ridiculous comments about how there's no humour in BvS and have panicked. The last thing we need is more of what Marvel are already dishing out. By "humour", hopefully they mean craziness, similar to Ledger's Joker... that I'd definitely be up for! I wish people could just let DC be DC and Marvel be Marvel without having to compare them ALL THE TIME and demanding everything be similar, because it'll get boring fast.

You've got to have a balance. Even Les Miserables has moments of humour.

I'm very concerned about these reshoots it's not supposed to be a comedy it looks awesome but worried now. It's villians I want it to be done seriously :(

Heard about the reshoots from flash and is a tad worrying BUT like @Paperinukke says the crazy should suffice for a bit of dark laughter. By that I don't mean it should be all the way through and I imagine Quinn's kookiness will make me chuckle at times anyway

I've mentioned it before but the joker and his antics always make me laugh anyway in a messed up way and I like that dark humour even if he is about to give someone a Chelsea smile or throwing them off a building

Hope they don't ruin it because it looks great even with will smith (we all know he's a sh*t actor nowadays)

I do not remember these having humour : thin red line, shining, suspiria, blade runner, black swan, noah, the pianist etc etc etc
Blade Runner has odd moments of humour - here's one example:

Deckard: You're reading a magazine. You come across a full-page nude photo of a girl.

Rachael: Is this testing whether I'm a replicant or a lesbian, Mr. Deckard?

I haven't seen the other films you've listed but I'm certain I could find moments of humour in them.

I'm glad you are so sure about yourself. but IMO a bit odd making comments like "everyfilm has humor" when one has not seen classics like thin red line, shining, suspiria, black swan, the pianist ...

Guys, @Apollon asked you earlier in another post, PLEASE agree to disagree... you don't need to go over and over in every single movie threads... Please.
