I loved ET and The Goonies, but I fell asleep towards the latter half of the movie for some reason. I was tired that night, and just couldn't concentrate, but I don't think I enjoyed this film as much as ET or The Goonies. I will need to rewatch it someday to make sure. The only other film that I can recall falling asleep while watching (again, when I am quite tried already) was for Cloverfield... funny how both are loud monster flicks.![]()

I hated Cloverfield.
I despise that "style" of film making. Trying to pass of an entire film using the shakey cam style as if its a documentary is BS. I walked out of Paranormal Activity for the same reason. If I am going to pay to see a movie, especially with the ticket prices now, then I want some production value. PA had none for me, and although Cloverfield did have the monster it was so rarely seen that it was def not worth it. And oddly enough as much as I hate those two movies, I still feel that the worst movie I have ever seen was the Village. Called the ending in ten minutes.. sadly I was dead on
disagree completely. Love the shaky cam and loved Cloverfield. Although I sooo agree on 'The Village'. I saw that movie not long after release and until recently it was the worst movie I had ever seen (so about 6-7 years it stayed the worst movie I had ever seen). Macgruber (2010) now takes that honour for myself...it was so bad....a celery stick between your butt-cheeks.... really....
ughhh really? you dig the shaky cam?
I just find no value in it. For one it makes me sick. Seeing it makes me want to vomit. More importantly though as a person that took film in school, worked on a few sets and just in general love film I can't abide the shaky cam.
But thats just me.
The Village will always rank as my worst movie.. unless of course they make a Village too... the Shattening (Happening) was also brutal. M. Night Shabomalom has got nothing left...
