Super 8 (Blu-ray SteelBook)(HMV Exclusive)-Debossed [UK]

So I received this as well today. Damaged of course. Thor was in good shape. Touch of Evil has a s,all dent on front cover and the clip holding the bookelt inside is broke and my Captain America order came mysteriously disguised in a Super 8 dvd case 
My question is how is HMV with returns? Do they pay the shipping to return damaged product? Do they wait until they receive the damaged items to send me new ones? Do they take any special care (bubble wrap) when resending your new copy? This is kind of irritating, I just hope they do not give me a hard time.

my sister returned Thor twice to them. They refunded the shipping cost back to her both times. As for taking special care re-sending.... NOPE, AWFUL! They just re-send it the same way they always send it out. So its just hope and pray it arrives undamaged the next time around.
But they did not give my sister a hard time about returning it at all. Hence why I prefer amazon.co.uk any day over hmv.com

free shipping for returns back to HMV if your in the UK, i added recorded delivery onto my return just to make sure. They ship out the replacement the same way as the orignal.
Was she returning from the UK or US? I might loose it if they do not reimburse my shipping costs. Did they only send the replacement after they received the damaged copy?
She sent it back from Canada. So it should be the same from State side.
I believe they did not send out the replacement until the damaged copy got back to them.
You know I keep saying this if any of the vendors listened... all it takes is one layer of bubble wrap .... You figure they would get it by now.
Happy customers = repeat customers. Now I only buy from HMV.com when they have an exclusive... in other words when Im forced to.

I know where you're coming from mate... in a way it does actually suit this particular Steelbook. To begin with it didn't bother me at all until a friend shared his huge dislike for it, so now it's the first thing I notice whenever I look at it.
I guess most people do not bother sending back for small stuff so in the end its cheaper for them to just throw it in the box. I guess I will be sending all three packages back and wait for better looking copies. Lesson learned though only to buy exclusives from them. Thanks for your help!
Are all releases of the SB region free?
On amazon.it its lists as region 2.

yes, the blu-ray is region free. the dvd is region 2.
