hey folks out there in HDN land! right now we're in the midst of a blizzard...probably the first one I can remember in a very long time.
thinking of all my friends in the northeast this morning, feel very lucky to have power and wait until later in the day to actually begin shoveling.
here are a few pictures of around my house - you can see my mailbox on the other side of the street and the neighbor has snow drifts up to the middle of his garage door.
and just think that yesterday morning we didn't have ANY snow on the ground - right now I think in the non-drifting areas we have over 3ft. with maybe another 6-8 inches to come.
at least we still have power.
these pictures are from my phone, didn't dare to take my nice camera outside this morning. both pictures are from my yard looking at the neighbor's house very early this morning - there's probably another foot on the ground right now with a bunch more packed on my side of the street from the snow plow.
the mailbox is not happy now - won't stay closed since the snow plow hit it.
here's the backyard - only one dog is brave enough to go through this drift, the rest stay to the right.
