it depends on what film...the aviator,3;10 to yuma,sin city,beetlejuice,mars attack,v for vendetta (i know the last three are 14.99) but it still shows people are willing to pay the prices. it just depends on the movie,and movies like this and boy in the striped pyjamas were never going to sell out at that price,they need to fix there prices tbhLol I was so mad I cancelled my 'This is England' pre-order straight after. I like Studio Canal/Lionsgate titles but there's no point pre-ordering one week and the next going for half the price. If they were more considerate of the Steelbook market and paid closer attention to the worth of their Steelbooks (Boy in the Striped Pyjamas, Aviator, 3:10 To Yuma), they'd know by now £17.99 is not a price people are willing to pay anymore regardless of how limited they are. The price for this should've been £11.99 from the very beginning. I caved and bought this SB
it's always a bit of gambling and hit&miss with these. i know that feeling as i pre-ordered multiple copies of several steels last year full price just to see them drop to 5.99 around "black friday". then again i missed out on some when i thought the price was not low enough, and then they still sold out for 11.99 ("only god forgives"). with "swingers" i had the right feeling. hope the same for some others.
