Anyone got the shipping invoice from jsdvd? I have been charged for the item more than a month ago.

I don't understand you. In the James Bond Japan thread you say your more than content with the U.K. version at half the cost. How come your spending twice as much for this one instead of the U.K. version?

It's because I already placed the order long time back and was charged. I am sure it won't impact your ebay sale.

Regarding Skyfall, I canceled the order with yesasia as the final price was triple and not double. This one was less than double the price including shipping.

I still think it can be easily topped as badass as this looks and I'm looking at you Korea. A nice slip with Neeson on it.

Anyone find it hilarious that they chose orange text on slip to match the original text on the steel (on the mock up) only for it to turn out red?

Yeah this sucks in my opinion, i pre ordered it because i hoped for orange Text.

The UK release is identical to this. And for £12. I don't know who came up with the idea that a piece of card with foreign text on it makes something highly desirable??!!

It's not just the slip. It's the exclusivity of it.

The Taiwan version will have a print run of less than 1000.

The UK version will probably have a print run of 8000 if not more.

So in essence, the Taiwan version will be worth a hell of a lot more than the UK version.

I know 'to each their own' and all that.

Personally I could never justify spending an extra Eur 40 (taking into account shipping costs and everything) for a piece of card (that obstructs most of the Steelbook anyway) when it's available significantly cheaper on your own doorstep.

It might have a lesser print run, but I think it will be limited as to who will want this particular version when it has been released worldwide? I'd imagine only die-hard collectors with large pockets will be interested in your slipcover.

It's getting a bit dull reading negative comments about slips in every Asian release thread. If people don't like them or think they're too expensive, they don't need to say so in every thread.

Very true ... and to add a small tip in this regard. TW editions that appear on yesasia as well have more qty then those that do not appear on yesaia at all.

JSDVD are still showing just under 50 in stock, and it's still available for pre-order on YesAsia, so nice though it is, I don't think the Taiwan edition is going to be particularly rare.

And another Tuesday morning trivia - Yesasia is only down the road from where I work But the stupid thing is they don't ship non-HK releases to a HK address! When I called them about this they muttered something about copyright and licensing issues...
