Taken 2 (Blu-ray SteelBook) [UK]

Word of caution from an UK HDN Member about HMV (thanks VRob98)

HMV now in administration said:
People should just be aware of 2 things:

1) If you receive a damaged or faulty copy from now on, you will not receive a replacement or refund

2) If they charge your card and are then unable to fulfil your order, you will not be refunded.

The way a company operates whilst under administration is quite different to how it operates normally, and certain consumer rights are suspended. If anything goes wrong you would have to apply to the administrator or claim against your credit card issuer.

I'd encourage everyone who has orders in with HMV to consider the above, as I'd hate to see anyone here lose their money in all of this.

Release Date: February 4th, 2013

may just do that, i guess no harm in trying. True they are impressing me at the moment i've only really started using amazon uk/de/ca in the last 6 months and can't really fault them.

Had a reply basically saying 'the price is £14.99, not £11.99 and you can't prove it so you'll be charged £14.99'

"I understand the inconvenience this situation has caused and on this occasion, I would like to give you a GBP 5.00 promotional gift certificate as a goodwill gesture, for use towards your next Amazon.co.uk order."

Yeah, not bad:hilarious:

Amazon are still waiting delivery of stock, so I doubt this will get to me on Monday. They have promised to refund the postage if it doesn't.

I find it a bit unprofessional that Amazon are reducing the price upon request, rather than doing it automatically... doesn't seem fair at all. I'm tempted to email them a genuine complaint asking them to lower the price for everyone... surely that would save time for everyone (ourselves and Amazon).

Email sent requesting that we ALL receive the same treatment. ;)
