They are WEA releases exclusive to Novamedia
They have to do 4,000 steelbooks if they want them made in scanavo denmark
They would have to had them made in china scanavo to do 2000 print run

It's not a shared print run between different countries retailers like you get in Europe with some steelbook releases

Why you so bothered if they not sold out some releases yet

Retailers only have to sell a % of units ordered at full price to be in profit
It makes no difference if a release sells out in 1 day or if it takes 6 months or more
A sold out release is the same if it takes 1 week or 6-12 months
I wasn't bothered by it. Was more of a question in a sense. I've been a collector for years and own probably close to 500 steelbooks. I'm a bit embarrassed that I did not know that scanavo had print run minimum of 4,000. That makes a lot of sense.
I actually was going to wait and see what the lenti looks like. Really like the back art but the front just looks okay. The print run is good for collectors because this will not be selling out anytime soon and in a few months will probably be able to get this in an X-mas sale or sellers on eBay in auctions just trying to get rid of to much stock.
Nova's been off for almost 2 years. T2 was there last great release IMO or maybe the SW:TFA Slips. I was buying at least 2/3'a of all Novas exclusive and Choice releases all the way back to Drive, John Wick, and Avengers. The only releases worth getting in the last 2 years I thought were maybe the Kill Bill's, JW2, and Avengers AOU, I can't think of anything else? They are not on the level of the top premium company's anymore like Zeta, Blufans, Manta. You clearly know more than I do, this wasn't the initial subject but I'm curious if you think Nova's releases are as strong as they once were?

Didn't care as much for 2 or 3, probably would not be a buyer for those.

Yeah I don’t think I would lose sleep over it if it never eventuated just would be nice if they followed through. Then one day hopefully in the near future I can do a disc swap and put in a shiny new 4K disc into these Nova Taken Premium/s.

Well what the f. I do care... bad Nova, bad.
I hope that means they get cracking on Insidious and that whole universe at least.

I don't mind they're not completing the set as I would anyways buy only the first one, the other two movies aren't worth the price of a premium release IMO
