I've always really liked that Mexican cover art, but a G1 steelbook does not interest me in the slightest.

I'm pleased they have used that image on the lenticular. It will be lenticular editions only I think from Kimchi. I did manage to get both editions of LGB, but it would cost a fortune to keep that going.

Looking forward to this one.

After promotion time price be 60 or 50 $ like Monsters inc ?

Promotional price is 44.99$ same price as regular slipcover

next price will be 49.99$. never goes to 60$ as list price.

I think many of member feel it's very expensive

if Kimchi want to release cheap 2d only Disney steelbook,
It would be totally cheaper than Zavvi with shipping charge.

but Kimchi do not want to be Zavvi. blufans

Just do great job for fans of kimchidvd exclusive

Asia blu-ray market is very small and limited so price is very high.
for example, In Korea, Disney 2d/3d amaray price is almost 35.99$ as retail price. (just regular slip, not lenticular)

I think next kimchi exclusive like Leon will not be expensive tho like Monsters inc. and Tangled.

44.99$ is very best price from Kimchi.

Please kindly understand price ...

Choi - Thanks for the insight to the Korea market and street prices. Also, on the confirmation that Kimchidvd want to have their own stamp on releases and not another Zavvi for the masses or copy BFs :scat:
I, for one, will continue to pre-order Kimchidvd releases if the quality of the "package" is maintained...On the down side, the releases are coming too fast with both Kimchidvd and BFs...My CC is taking a pasting EEK!

Methinks this artwork was already chosen by Disney and Kimchi had/has nothing to do with art choice. (hence the non-exclusive version availability).

With that in mind, I think this looks great. It doesn't include or use any of the artwork that I posted all of this thread that many HDN members seemed to really like, but nonetheless, I don't dislike any part of the artwork that is now posted.

If this Tangled steelbook had been available 2 years ago, nobody would be complaining and it would have sold out immediately.

I will be getting the lenticular version

It would've been nice to have kimchi exclusives every other month just so I can keep up with Blufans at the same time.

Thanks for the info, Choi! Didn't know that amarays are that expensive in Korea. Makes it a more reasonable price for the Steelbook I guess.

So is the lenticular slip with the steelbook? Also how do you purchase and do they deliver to UK? Think I might be missing some info.

the slip is with the steel. You can choose the quarter or full lenticular. Purchase link is not live yet (will be announced later)

They ship worldwide. Customs is a different story. Your mates in the UK can better assist you with trying to get around customs (if possible)

Yes they do ship to the uk, I ordered monsters inc and it cost me $10 postage, and you also get an option to put a lower price on the packaging to get through customs, you need to create an account with kimachi first. Hope this helps.
