I've learned my lesson from ES - always cancel a long time before release with them as they ALWAYS try and force you into a purchase if it's getting even remotely near release date.

My card got swallowed by the bank machine & thus has been cancelled. I just received an email saying that my order has been cancelled due to my card being cancelled.

Is this sold out, as I do still want the steelbook but cannot do it until I receive my new card!?

If you need to cancel an item with ES i just email them quoting the reference number and stating I want to cancel and they do no questions asked. Has long has you do it before Wednesdays has that's when there ship. I've never had problems doing it this way since there showed up.

That stock item is probably one of mine they cancelled. Got a response from my email to say there is nothing they can do, just check the site to see if it comes available again.

That is not my experience of dealing with ES. If it's got to the point where you cannot simply click the cancel order button yourself then it's already too late. If you have to resort to an email cancellation reqest then you'll get a reply saying "I'll just check with our shipping depot and check on the status of your order" or some other BS before going silent for 3 days. Basically at that point they've got you. The next thing you'll hear is "We're pleased to advise you that your order is on it's way...".

3 times they've done that to me. There won't be a 4th time.
