Same as some others. Even with the artwork being questionable, I do need to add the film to my collection in steel, so even if they had a pile of turtle poop on the cover, I would be forced to get it as it's the only release.
Personally, I don't feel me "taking a stand" and passing on it would get a steelbook with better artwork released. The only thing it would get me, is no steelbook.
I used to hold this opinion. Now, almost four hundred Steelbooks later, I wonder why I ever did. Instead of building a collection of premium editions, I have built a collection of some really nice Steelbooks but also a lot of mediocre ones and some downright terrible ones. I really regret it now and wish I had been more selective.

Steelbooks back jn stock are awaiting stock pick as usual.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Zavvi Exclusive Limited Edition Steelbook Blu-ray
Zavvi Exclusive Steelbook with gloss finish and embossed marks - limited to 2500 copies.
Uk transfer is shocking apparently

When this going Live to Order
Not that I plan to order this unless something I see changes my mind
I'm just curious as to when Zavvi going Live with this Release
Apparently this is true - most grain removed and images compromised with it - lack of detail, heavy handed DNR, washed out colours.
If that wasn't bad enough, even the American one isn't that good - only rating a 3.8 on a very well known blu site that if I name will be removed
Shame, I really wanted this in the collection.

The UK bluray looks fantastic. Best picture quality it has ever had
If you compare the technical specs though
uK 1080i interlaced transfer with lossy Dolby Digital 5.1
Against
US 1080p progressive with Lossless Dolby TrueHD 5.1
The US does exceed the UK disc
A review of the UK disc in question can be found here

The fact that due to the 1080i transfer that this release suffers from the dreaded 4% speedup results in the audio being higher pitched that it should be. Personally can't stand out of pitch audio so its a definite no go for me
