TENEBRAE [REMASTERED] BLU-RAY STEELBOOK

TERROR BEYOND BELIEF!

A notorious horror classic returns in all its depraved glory. This infamous video nasty updated the classic Giallo blueprint for the gorified 80s, courting controversy and drenching the viewer in crimson arterial spray.

A razor-wielding psycho is stalking the horror writer Peter Neal, in Rome to promote his latest work, Tenebre. But the author isn’t the obsessive killer’s only target, the beautiful women who surround him are doomed as one by one, they fall victim to the murderer’s slashing blade…

Will fiction and reality blur as fear and madness take hold? Watch in terror as by turns the cast fall victim to the sadistic imagination of Dario Argento, Italy’s master of horror.

After seeing the pics of this i am regretting cancelling my order of this. Might have to pick it up later when my wallet stops whimpering.

Arrows steels are pretty much always matte. No surprise here. They make up for it by loading them with content instead of a standard disc in a tin

not sure but i think I only own two Arrow steels - Battle Royal and Demons 1&2 - both of which have a gloss finish :)

As Tenbre is a Zavvi exclusive i imagine the premium gloss option was automatically thrown out the window :movie:

Me too. I'm just waiting for the inevitable price drop in a few days or weeks. ;)

Not all Arrow Steelbooks have been reduced so I will stick with my order!

Battle Royale and demons have a more shiny matte finish than Full Gloss. I don't think Arrow have ever released a fully glossy steelbook. Their artwork is always top quality though so I don't think they need it.:)

^^^ u sure? looked like a full on gloss 2 me, though i wil dbl check later.

...however whatever it is, it looks a damm site better than this cheap, streaky matte garbage :movie:

Its almost a halfway point between matte and gloss, I guess you could class them as glossy but it still doesn't feel like full Gloss IMO.:)

I had a look at them earlier today dudes - and tbh i'm finding it hard to put into words exactly what the finishing is on both - certainly not basic matte, but not high quality gloss like Sigil said  either...

"thin low economy sheen-gloss" is about the best i can come up with :hilarious: .....tho Battle Royal seems 2 be a notch better quality than Demons?

i also checked them, and i'm definitetly no expert in defining what gloss or matte means, but "lady snowblood" looks def. like a matte finish to me, while "demons1+2" and "battle royale" have a partial gloss-style title (from what i can see through the shrink wrap), the rest looks matte.
"king of new york" also looks matte with some small "glossy" regions in the artwork.

^^ i dont have Lady Snowblood unfortunately :( but Daemons & Battle Royal are definitely glossy - not the best quality gloss - but theres definitely a gloss or sheen to the black paintwork

u also need to be looking at them unwrapped, in hand & without any wrapping or plastic distorting the light - the actual naked steel itself
