The SteelBook varnish has also been chosen to be matte due to the application of another special layer of GLOW IN THE DARK EFFECT varnish, which is fluorescent lighting in the dark. I think the new WEA is great although not the one from the pole (and muuuuch better than the first WEA). And when the finish is done right, I even think it could surpass the Novamedia grail.

I still think the Nova media edition is the best.

The back of FA's second edition looks odd. It's just not framed properly. And I hate to see just something in the foreground with no background, just blackness. Looks like it's just hovering there.....

If Fallen Kingdom is anything to go by, FA will probably put the 4K in the Furlong steelbook to shift more copies (or it'll get the best slip)!!!

Although they did just call this last steelbook "second exclusive WEA Steelbook" and in a past message from them refering to the disc configurations they said "The first SteelBook will feature 3D configuration, the second SteelBook will include 4K Ultra HD configuration."
Not sure if first and second will mean the same thing in both contexts.

The kerning on "Schwarzenegger" and "Judgment Day" is off, way off on "Day". They'd better fix that but it doesn't seem like they will. It looks pretty odd to me.

Well that art was the art used for the 3D steelbook earlier this year wasn't it. So it would make sense. Just this time without the 3D logo.

I'm disappointed they didn't do the one from the poll. It was awesome. The backside FA have chosen instead is boring and looks a bit tacky, to be brutally honest.
Heck, if the slip is done right I might even go for the first WEA, because I think FA's steel won't beat Nova's (@yy0925), and there's no point in owning an almost identical, yet inferior steel. With the other art on the backside it might have been a serious contender, but not like this.

Yeah it's true. Thoes two are too similiar to double dip.
In my case I'm happy that they are similiar because I sold my Nova one (I don't like lentis without depth).
I'm looking forward to see the "attractive effects" they mentioned.

I only own a handful of premium editions. The novamedia T2 1/4 slip is probably the best of the steelbooks I own.

I think the back art on poll winner was better than this one, but if they want to go with embossing on the back then I get why they changed it, cant see good embossing options on the previous one. We shall see when live pics are up.
