If anyone would do a little research on Filmarena an their business attitudes it would be so easy to boycott a company who is definitely milking out every "cow" dead not being able to hide in the barn fast enough...how you call it greedy capitalism or global liberal free market ? It`s up to us and we are a small community here capable to restrain a small player like FA - but, as usual, nothing is going to happen !! Don`t complain about the next price increase - because if there is one rule valid here: it`s that greed is unstoppable if consumers are showing a behaviour of blind, brainwashed fools- you may also simply terminate them multiple times (from E1 to E5).

The E3 T2 boxset is about 3320, plus about 1200 CZK for shipping (based on a Spiderman box that's available right now), so should be about 4500 shipped, which is $200!
If I get E1 and E2 separately, at 1070 + 1230 (=2300) plus shipping 1000CZK, it comes out to 3300, or $145.
I don't want the mug or the t-shirt, don't know what that extra small box is for, and don't think the plastic T-800 Brain Chip will be any good. The art on the big box is good, but it'll just end up another problem where to put it, where to display it. So I think I'll pass on paying 1200CZK extra for all that I don't really need, which is basically the price of another FAC edition.

On a side note this is the first release that I will be able to use my collectible number (1463) since black mass in 2016.

I got in late too, but even though not that late, #762, still most of the editions go past me as they're limited to 750, 600, 350, etc. Basically can get in only on those with a limit of 1000 and more. So last time I bought a FAC directly was July 2017 (the rest that interested me got through a friend on our TotalDVD.ru forum, he's got a couple under 500 numbers).

bloody hell just looking at gb for e1 2253 czk works out at £78.47 that now makes these more expensive than blufans, also have to say 7% (£5.49) for paypal fees is taking the piss and also hdn asking 7.5% (£5.88) for there fee is also the same imho. shipping is not carlencs fault but even that is now (£17.07) if fa keep this up they will take themselves completely out the game within 2-3 years as no one will be able to afford it!

i have ended ordering from else where due to the high cost here and only ordered this to complete my terminator set after this one i will never order a fa as long as i live, proof in princple of robbing gits and only end up getting higher.

I agree with you about fees, but their prices on the website are not the highest, E1 of T2 costs about $47, the same $40-60 ballpark of NovaMedia, KimChi, BluFans, etc.
They were the cheapest for a couple of first years, when their editions were 650-750 CZK, which is just 28-33 US dollars (!), but then leveled out, so to say, with the others.
So the blame for greed goes to BluFans and the rest, for setting the market price, as it is.

i always considered FAC a pseudo premium retailer, where only on paper all criteria for calling their product premium (slipbox, steelbook, extras) are fulfilled... but the quality of everything (generic artwork, stapled booklets, poor flip flop lentis, etc. etc.) is definitely the worst out of every premium retailer... at least in my opinion.. asking for BY FAR the highest price for their product is a poor joke imo..

as of recently they improved their game tho, and at least their WEA steelbooks are of nice quality... still, no way its worth the markup

I have to say that even though full slips of KimChi, or lentis of BluFans, are excellent by themselves, always considered the FAC editions the best overall, as a set, most packed. Never noticed a bad slip case or anything, maybe some low quality photographs in the very first editions. Which can't be said about 3 out of 4 KimChi editions, with just 3 postcards, or BluFans, which give either a set of photocards OR a booklet, never together. FilmArena's releases are always top value!

at the current rate it will be 4000 czk for 1/4 slip... without the actual steelbook

My two cents: if you think the price is too much, don’t buy it. Let the market do it’s job: if filmarena can sell all the copies of T2 = the price is right. If they can’t get rid of it, they’ll lower the prices and listen to the customers.

I cannot see this selling out direct. There should be no problems ordering after the collectible holder 3 day period is finished and free for sale to the public.
It will cost about:
£160 if you order the Maniac Boxset direct delivered to the UK.
£115 for E1 + E2 delivered to the UK.
£260 for E1 + E2 + Maniac Boxset delivered to the UK
The one click Deadpool 2 boxset order from Manta Lab is nearly just as expesive. So why is no one moaning then about Manta? So no, I don't think it's that expensive.
Filmarena shipping is good for the EU but very expensive out of Europe. But you get the 20% VAT removal to compensate for the expensive shipping,
I never had any damaged steels, always well packaged and shipping is about 4 days, if not 3 days.
There seems to be the same rant and haters against Filmarena. I will be a minority and actually enjoy what they deliver. Sure they do release many steels that don't interest me but it's nice to have a selection.
Overall I am happy with service from Filmrena. Not saying they are a perfect retailer at all and no retailer are either. Manta Lab are overrated, Blufans slips still need working on, Zeta perhaps should sell the 4K on it's own instead forcing customers to buy their boxset. Nova can release better titles, Kimchi and their awful skinny tall slips, I can go on and on. I just feel that a lot of criticism always seem to be directed to FA's greed. It's quite simple, too expensive don't buy it lol. Or try ordering direct to save costs.

I agree, this won't sell out for a while at least. Spider-Man still hasn't. In both cases more to do with the print run than with the price, I feel.
Terminator 2 is a great movie but also over 25 years old.

Thank you for the picture. I guess I can see it being annoying if previous titles in a series are different sizes. Or if you don't have a protective slip in that size. Which is the problem I would have since I only have regular slip sizes and have only used 3 of the 10 slip protectors that I have.

Other than that I don't see a problem with them if they're going to use these most if not all of the time now.
