What's wrong with the Blu-ray?

Noise reduced to death. Not as bad as the Predator blu-ray but certainly not a standard bearer of the format. The 4k is not much better. My CAV laserdisc set is vastly superior viewing experience.
So if they ever get it right, i will replace all my special edition internal discs with a proper pressing. Until then all the box sets do is look pretty on the shelf as I sure as hell won't be watching those pressings on my watch.

3D viewing is good on my Plasma TV

Lot better than 2D Blu-ray or 4K UHD

Best to watch studiocanal release of Terminator 2: Judgment Day in 3D as it was remastered for a new 3D conversion and done well IMO

Yes 2D Blu-ray and 4K UHD not that great video wise but this re-release was all about been done in 3D

So now Zavvi is releasing Filmarena's glow in the dark steelbook for T2:

Even Manta Lab's Deadpool 2 steelbook is being released by multiple retailers.

The one thing I notice is that both movies come from Fox. I guess they don't care about giving exclusives to Filmarena or Manta Lab. At least the FAC edition has an extra Blu-Ray disc and Manta's steel has full gloss.

Terminator 2 is StudioCanal not Fox

Film Studio Distributors own the rights to steelbook releases including artwork
They can decide to release a previous WEA steelbook at a later time in other countries

Some WEA releases are exclusive with a retailer for a timed period can be for a few months to long term.
Premium retailers don't own the rights to a steelbook even if they done all the artwork design it becomes property of the film studio distributor

Correct. Slipped my mind as the original Terminator was distributed by Fox and almost all of Cameron's films have been released by Twentieth Century Fox.

It's a given that studio's own the rights to artwork, etc... My thoughts were that retailers should be given actual exclusives.

I suppose it's questionable to view a steelbook as a WEA if it eventually gets released in multiple countries, but, luckily, most WEA's are only released by one company.

Just received a sealed copy of Edition #1 4K Steelbook. Not sure it is my eyes but the ‘glow in the dark’ effect has failed and not showing as green as unboxing videos on You Tube?!

Anyone else have this problem please? How dark does the room need to be to see the glow effectively?

It’s a pile of crap and if you listen to some ‘people’ around here you will need to warm up the box to get the glow effect to work lol basically it’s poop

If you have ever seen any of these products, you should know that they all have to be charged

If you have a ultraviolet light it works instantly
I use a ultraviolet torch to charge glow in the dark products
