Just checked my tracking on all copies there all saying reason for held other or innapropriate invoice. Not impressed dont no what happens now. Won't be using kimchi again if this happens.

Only ordered a handful of items from outside the EU before, but I've never had any issues, till now. Not a great experience for a first time order from Kimchi. Such a shame, cause it was all going so well.

I wouldn't panic just yet. As vRob mentioned last night, its standard practice that Parcelforce will pass deliveries to UK Customs if they don't get the proper invoices attached. Just be patient and see how it plays out...
Just be lucky this release isn't getting caught up during the holiday periods, then packages can get held up at customs for weeks EEK!

As for customs, I really don't know what to expect. Hate the thought of somebody opening it, can't see them taking much care, can you?

It's unlikely they'll open it. They'll routinely process it through and at worst you'll have some charges to pay to Parcelforce.

On the one occasion I did have a package opened for inspection, the steelbooks were handled with care and there were no damages. I'm sure everyone will receive their shipments in good order.

Thanks guys, your reassurances are most welcome and very helpful.

Why is everyone so worried? I received three Lord of the Rings-steels from Kimchi a few weeks ago, worth $110. They took about 1,5 week to arrive. Kimchi nicely signed it as a gift and wrote $23,99 on the invoice, as requested. No problems with customs whatsoever.

And I am located in the Netherlands…I’ve had several occasions where I had to pay for customs, but not with Kimchi :). Hence I love ordering at them and not at Yes-Asia ;). They simply refuse to lower the price on the invoice slip.

But they go full out here in the UK, my ones been stuck in customs for 3 days, I've had a few stuck for 2 days max, hopefully it gets here in one piece :ohno:

I'm serious about this..

Could this be the best steelbook ever made?

Limited Number
Incredible detail
Implemented customer feedback
Awesome film

Looking at some of the images, the detail is incredible.. Take what appears to be a chrome chamfer edge on the T2 on the front of the steel as an example.

So happy to be getting this.. Really tempted by no2 now!

You might be right mate. It's one the nicest looking steels I've ever seen - which makes it all the more sickening that I didn't get on this! :emb:

Might try and track one down next month... :ohno:

They plan to tax sex next. PAYF Pay As You Fffornicate.
That's OK I should get a refund this year :(

In G8 summit US and UK/EU signed some treaty that will stop imposing export/import duty on almost all goods/services but it is only between US and UK/EU. So some good news is on the horizon.

Importing from Asia is a matter of timing and luck.

Looks I'll be getting shafted by UK customs soon :( heard when its clearing twice it's usually awaiting custom charges.

The lady in parcel force is indeed singing
