OMG I can't believe it. After 18 days my T2 from Kimchi finally arrived in perfect condition.

I already thought it was lost because the tracking stood still at arrival at Frankfurt Airport since Juli 1st and this is just 30 miles away from where I live.

I received my copy today - truly stunning steelbook. I'm watching the movie right now, has this been remastered? I've never seen T2 look better.

Wasn't the T2 Extreme Edition DVD remastered at 4K? Maybe they used the same one on bluray but at a higher quality?

This is a great looking steelbook and the I thought the video looked good. It would have been great if it had the extras from the Japanese Premium edition.

Received mine a couple of days ago as well. Stunning.

I was also nicely surprised since I was confident (no other thought even crossed my mind) that the slip is black and apparently it ain't!

The packaging was also superb, as always with Kimchi.

Otherwise, this is an extremely nice steelbook, my favourite steelbook in my collection so far. For those of you that have opened it, what did you do with the slip?

I always guard the full,quarter, etc...slips o back cards by placing them in a secure place by using protective plastic sleeves to avoid scratches or bends.

Don't think so mate. Even if it was remastered it was heavily DNR-ed with Edge Enhacement added.

Think Van Ling boasted a lot about the Skynet release but was panned by videophiles.

T2 is in bad need of a frame-by-frame restoration under the supervision of James Cameron who I think was never involved in T2 remastering for Blu-ray till date.

ALL the movies no matter what format you choose they all need to be remastered for resolutions. Restoring it is different. But some movies can have both procedures. You wont be seen a flea in the hair of Arnie with a 4K....this resolution was created for bigger TV screens like a 50 inches or more.

I had the same status on July 1st and recieved it yesterday with the green customs sticker. The tracking never changed since July 1st.

Don`t worry-it`s stuck at Customs at DHL International Logistics Center Frankfurt -they don`t scan it anymore -had the same Prob with a Shipment from HMV HK-it will arrive in a few Days. It will not be send back

Maybe changed is the wrong word because the only think that has changed is the date on my tracking (no ems)
I did not understand why the tracking gives me a status update on July 12 with the same update I got on July 1

Last eleven days status was:

Since yesterday:
The item arrived at the International Logistics Center Frankfurt in Germany on Jul 12, 2013.


But maybe the message gets updated if there is no movement for several days....

It's better to grab this one early and pay a little bit more than try to find it more later... this version will be more rare to find. 1.5k only.

Which one do you think will be more hard to find in the future? This one from KimichiDVD 1.5k or the black slip one 3k run? Considering that the black one from Amz.Jp was released and shipped only to Jpn.
