It's better to grab this one early and pay a little bit more than try to find it more later... this version will be more rare to find. 1.5k only.

Which one do you think will be more hard to find in the future? This one from KimichiDVD 1.5k or the black slip one 3k run? Considering that the black one from Amz.Jp was released and shipped only to Jpn.

IMO, this steel can't 'touch' the BLACK SLIP from Japan :naughty:

like everyone on this forum bought at least one copy, while perhaps 5% have the jp one

the grail version of t2 will always be the black one

btw. practically the print run of this steelbook is 3k as well.. only the extras are exclusive

Last eleven days status was:
The item arrived at the International Logistics Center Frankfurt in Germany on Jul 1, 2013.

Since yesterday:
The item arrived at the International Logistics Center Frankfurt in Germany on Jul 12, 2013.

I think you don't have to worry. Mine is the same but when I tracked through DLH it says that it arrived in Frankfurt on July 1 and was scanned at customs on July 12.

(Maybe the package is doing the Snowdon thing :) )

Gets better and better with this one. KoreaPost website states that my order has been delivered on July 16th. But if I look at the DHL website it's still stuck with customs:angry:
Think I will cancel Le Grand Bleu, just to many problems....

I opened my copy and not impressed by the Steel at all due to the quality of finishing. The Skynet edition shines better and is more camera friendly in my opinion despite the lack of embossing.

I agree. The Skynet steel is better imo. I think this is popular due to it being an "Exclusive #1" and limited to 1500 copies. The slip cover looks amazing but the steel itself is meh. And with the "no borders revolution" going on at the moment, Im surpised people arent mentioning how bad it looks that text is skewed due the embossing on this.

Plus I like Terminator 2 on my spine rather than T2.

The text being written over the border is obviously a massive cock-up but the Skynet edition always felt a bit cheap when I owned it.

With the embossing on this one, it just feels like a better product. But then I feel that way about most embossed steels, so I may be a bit biased in that sense.

Skynet edition has a glossy endo and title (from what I remember - Sold it) but matte background and no inside art (plus a load of text on the rear). This one is matte all over but has unique embossing, fully clean and inside art.

Skynet actually does have interior art if you look closely. Its just not a photograh but rather the background of the cover art. That gives it a nice touch imo. I agree it feels a bit cheap though and can understand why most think Kimchis is better, but I like the overall design. I would like Kimchis's because of the embossed eyes but the text sitting on the edge of the border is just an eyesore to me.
