I don't get it. Is this artwork meant to surpass previous releases ? Kimchi's version is superior in every way.
Korean version is a peach alright. Feels like a quality steel in hand too.

Although this is very bad, it's 10 times beter than that pointless Mondo effort.

I just can't get my head around why people go mad for those. Personally I hate them.

I'm old school and think steelbook art should be made up of original movie artwork.

It's like asking an architect to come up with his design for a plane or a car!! The two should be kept completely seperate.

Why isn't the Mondo thread part of the steelbook forum?? It's just a money spinner IMO!

?

so company that provides artwork to films (in posters etc) should not provide it to steelbooks ?

note : I have 0 mondo. just because they are region A.

Well, this is my point.

They shouldn't provide artwork for films.

Because IMO they dont suit. At all!

The style, the fact they can be so abstract.

I appreciate people like that sort of stuff. I just don't think it suits steelbooks of the movies personally. Maybe just leave it at posters.

I'm kind of glad that's the art they've gone for, because I didn't really want to double dip on this anyway, so they've just made the choice to skip this one even easier.

Mondo here I come! :D

well zavvi have well thought this out first one was limited to 1000 this version is limited to 2000.

not impressed by no back art and is there anything going on in the inside at all.
last few zavvi releases there only putting up back and front art or are they trying to hide something???

everyone bangs on about the skynet version anyone got a link at all?
and if skynet version is one to have, wish film arena would get it and make part of film arena collection :D
@carllenc any news on fa T2 yet????

basil

The skynet edition does look better than this steel in my opinion.
Now putting the new Zavvi terminator steel and the skynet edition together they look better together than I imagine this steel to be.
Would be good to see some in hand pictures and compare

I completely agree @BluSteel2012. They seem to go to a lot of time and expense coming up with art that isn't anywhere near as good as the original promotional posters. If these wannabe Rembrandts want to come up with this stuff then fine - just leave it off our ******* steelbooks. Since when did steelbook collecting merge with art collecting, 'cos it seems to be happening all the time now?????

ENOUGH!!! :banghead:
