its a steelbook not a kidney people need to relax , take a chill pill.That's not always feasible or practical @Basil for various reasons. They can ask for whatever timing they want, that still doesn't mean the GB can be opened at X time as it depends on the trade mods' availability, who, believe it or not, have lives outside of the forums.
Furthermore, let's not forget that both @carllenc and @Collector03601 are doing their best by hosting the group buy in the first place so let's give them some leeway as to when they can actually get around to prepare it, which again depends on certain information that has not yet been provided by the retailer.
Also, not picking on you personally, just a general statement:
Plans change all the time, people need to accept that and move on, as there are other priorities in life. This sense of entitlement that some seem to have, needs to be toned down.

i get people have lives also i get there is no sense of entitlement not an issue but it does not help when people say something is coming that effectively stirres the hornets nest no matter how well that was meant at the time,with info they had.
I have also read the many people staying on here saying when is it coming, they are not going out etc because they don't want to miss out etc.
personally i have a close family member in hospital in a serious condition, a very serious condition she nearly died. so less extra stress would have been a great help in my case as down the hospital everyday for 5 hrs a day and then off for a nights work as well for last 2 weeks!
and this will be happening for me a minimum of next 2 weeks, i just hope she makes it.
I just hope no one else has what i have going on in myworld at the moment, its sh1t and wouldn't wish it on anyone
the idea of a fixed day and time is to improve it
1. for karel to get all versions and info he wants to gather first even if is 5 days later than he wanted to release
2. people would know exactly when to come without all the stress that is being created right here to many, you must be seeing how this effects many people here?
3. im sure 1 mod could turn up and flick 1 switch a pre-arranged time it can't be that hard, it can't be undo able with all the staff we have here as well. in fact i would go even further and say they may prefer a fixed time at least saves them being mucked about as well in waiting for it to be submitted as well
i thought the point was to try and improve bad situations?
anyway its not meant personally, its trying to improve a poor situation.
karel does a great job, also thought would make his life easier as well without loads of excessive pms and tags always asking the same things. surely he would want a bit of peace too.

I have to say, I totally agree with @Apollon. I myself spent most of my last Friday evening glued to HiDefNinja awaiting the GB to open and it didn't. However, it's not the end of the world, in fact far from it, and the GB will open as and when FilmArena and @carllenc are ready.
As per @Collector03601's earlier post and repeated afterwards by @Apollon, there should be plenty of copies to go around so everyone who wants one can grab their desired copy without the worry of missing out.
Potentially 499 copies to go around so I think it's safe to say there should be enough available

With these group buys, can admin just say an expected live date and time and and if things change, just up date that in the first post. This will hopefully stop people keep asking and we can even then subscribe to said thread for notifications. It's a pain when you phone goes off every 5 minutes with someone asking when's it going live. Also, I'm sure I'might not the only one looking in thus thread 3 or 4 times a day for an update. If we know a rough time, then we can look in then for going live or a new date.
