This is only for Karel's GB.
They always happen before FA actually list it on their site.
hm..if the steelbook will be white and not silver ! + glossy! Its a great steelbook! imo
plus the FA package is superb! in relation to the setup the price is good....

Why do we have to wait for the beauty shot of the edition #2 for a group buy to go live for edition #1
Some members will want both I know but some will want only edition #1 or edition #2 only
We already have the beauty shot for edition #1 so why cant we just have the group buy go live for edition #1
I understand some might want to change their minds and get edition # 2 when that beauty shot is revealed instead of edition #1
We have group buys go live before for film arena with not seeing a beauty shot before
Is their a reason this time we have to wait for the beauty shot of edition #2 to have the group buy go live for edition #1 has something changed

Because many people changed their minds about which option they wanted via the GBs when other Birdman variants were announced, which caused a lot of extra work for Karel and Martin.
They already work extremely hard making sure that the GBs here go smoothly, so let's please all just be patient and not cause a lot of extra work and wasted time for them both.
Whenever FilmArena are ready to show the other beauty shot, the GB can open.
I understand that but we all cant spend 2-3 days stuck at a computer waiting to find out when a group buy is going live
I suggest they announce a set time for when the group buy is going live so members can get on with other things they have to do in their lives and join the group buy at the live time but know this in advance
How many members yesterday were glued to their PC/Laptop/Mobile Phone from 6pm yesterday waiting for the group buy to go live a lot from what I see in the thread
Best solution set a date and time as to when the group buy will be going live and give 24 hours notice at least
Chances are they can't do that, considering they have no idea when Film Arena are going to provide the second beauty shot. It could be today, it could be next Tuesday.
Who knows what the hold up is. e.g. Could be waiting on final approval from the studio and the guy that has the final say was ill, is on holiday, doesn't work weekends, etc.
That does not stop them announcing when a group buy will be going live with 24 hours notice
When they get all information then set a date and time for when the group buy will be going live its that simple
Example
They get all details on Monday set the live time for the group buy on the Tuesday or next day or a day that suits the group buy host that way members know in advance
I myself have already decided on edition #1 regardless what edition #2 has different
If edition # 2 look amazing different I will decide if I get that as well but will be still getting edition #1 no matter what edition #2 has
Personally I think this is how all GB should be handled-wait until we know the details.
I voiced my opinion before on how I wasn't a fan of committing to a GB without seeing what the product looked like. ie: without a beauty shot.
At least this way we know what we're buying. I think maybe yesterday a certain mod shouldn't have said it would be going live 'soon' if they weren't 100% sure.

Yep, I was just pointing out that at the moment they don't know when the beauty shot will be provided so even if they did decide to give 24h notice, who knows when that may be.
Personally I'm going to go out and enjoy the sunny weekend here. My advice is just check back every few hours to see if there are any updates, don't spend all day at the computer waiting for something that may not even happen today
That's all well and good, but plenty of people won't be like that and will want to make their decision when they've seen both as not every collector considers buying multiple copies of the same film.

Dont worry guys, when there is 2k printrun of each edition I think its pretty safe to say Karel will have enough copies for all of you (very similar situation as with Looper, Birdman or Dredd and no one missed out, remember?)
