Single disc Steelbooks shouldn't be priced above $40 IMO. Look at the Zavvi threads and people are constantly moaning about pricing despite many amongst them being WEA and priced half or even 1/3rd of what is being charged in Asia.

Anyway still.haven't decided which one to pick.

And yet how often do Zavvi releases sell out compared to Asian releases? That says it all really.

I'd be worried that quality or content would drop if prices started to drop. I knew when I started collecting that it would be expensive at times, so I just accept that you get what you pay for. Zavvi releases are always an option though if price is more important than quality.

That's because they release a huge number of titles and cater to a mass market. Don't tell me that all Zavvi releases lack quality. Anyway I am hoping the pricing on this is reasonable.

I wasn't having a dig mate, I was just saying that the added price is usually justified because of the quality and extra content you're getting from Asian releases.

I agree with you when the Asian retailers release a WEA steelbook but when they take a drab mediocre steelbook and just dress it up with extras that cost peanuts to produce and then charge you three times as much then it's taking the pi**

Maybe the problem isn't the Asian retailers dressing a pig up in lipstick, it's the problem with the pig to begin with.

If the WWA of say BVS was better and Novamedia releases it with the same lenti/extras as they have done would we be having this conversation? Probably not.

Deadpool has a really nice WWA, I don't see anyone faulting that and zavvi, filmarena, kimchi and manta lab are all using it in their premium releases.

Either way, some people are fans of lenticular and full slip releases. I'm one of them, bad WWA isn't gonna sway me away from a beautiful Collector's edition of a film. Especially when the steelbook isn't even on show.

A collector's edition where the main element is awful cannot be considered beautiful. If the only criteria for such is a nice slip then you're doing it wrong in my opinion.

Remind me again guys as it's been a while since T1 GB but being part of the boxset for T1 (plus deposit) automatically guarantees one a slot for this and the rest right??? (in other words no need to join the GB for the remaining Terminator releases)...

If you joined up to the T1 Group Buy then yes you will have automatically qualified for the rest of the box sets, if you remember we paid a $25 non refundable deposit which will be deducted from the final box in the collection. @wxlinkswd if you could just confirm what I have stated is correct please.

Sorry, so I didn't get the boxsets in the earlier GBs, does that mean I don't qualify to buy T4 Boxset?

I'm afraid not mate, Boxset is for people who bought the first T1 and paid a deposit to secure the rest of them, unless there was anyone that dropped out. You may want to contact Alex @n3wk1d to see if anyone did.
