So Zavvi flooded the market with 4000 print run titles and now they are doing it with the 2000 print runs.

They are not even subtle about it.

How about a title like the running man, or some other title mentioned on the relevant thread.

You will need to think "would I buy this title with a 4000 print run?"

If not, dont get sucked into the "I have one and you don't" mindset.

And I see the price has crept up to £17.99 from the first "wave" of limited runs.

Greedy tatics, but whilst there is market for it, they will carry on doing so.

I personally, would rather have a quality steel, 4000 run and a nice base price of £13.99.

If Zavvi put the effort into most of their 4000 run releases (a bit of gloss maybe) then they would have shifted.

I'm Not for a shite or average film, but with a nice glossy steelbook and a £17.99 price tag.

As with their other releases, I am guessing any release sold on any Zavvi site is part of the qty they announce (so, 2000 here) for Zavvi UK, no 'extra' qty for their other sites. As has been mentioned over the years, whether the same exact cover appears in another country is up to the studio.

I seen the original in a drive in - yes, I am old - and scared my date into an easy steal of second base.....after all, you need to hold a boob in a bra to give her the confidence to deal with gore.

The other films put up recently for Zavvi are mostly old classics worthy of Steels in their own rights. The most recent one out of the collection was 3:10 to Yuma and that was 2007.

Artwork is awesome, but have no interest in the 2013 version. I agree with everyone else - if it were the 1974 or 2003 versions I would've sprung for them.
