Hey I can confirm this works in a region B player. Mine came back today dent free and it has Theatrical and Extended version of the film, and english subs for foreign parts at start of the film.

yeah, the only shipping option to the uk costs £23 though.
im sure it doesnt cost that much, i posted a blu to australia the other week which cost £2 or something. i could stand £10 shipping, but £23 is almost robbery.

Collector wise, are the Chinese ironpacks more desirable than the Japanese steelbooks for this movie? Are my facts even correct in asking that question? I'm new to steelbook collecting and am trying to learn as much as I can.

Maybe the Narnia steelbook. Unstoppable. Any number of other things.

I've found that lots of still desire steelbooks over ironpacks, even though ironpacks have smaller print runs. The build on a steelbook is just better.

You can't go wrong with Japanese releases though. They are very high quality and the disc will play in your US player.

Thanks, that's what I did. Ended up buying Unstoppable, Narnia, A-Team and Knight and Day. $200 shipped doesn't sound too bad for all 4.

I agree Japan makes fantastic steelbooks.

They are on par with Alliance imo.
