Ah, the importance of a big hand on the front . . . no disrespect to ALITA . . . but this is rank, although bit better than the big hand and house minimalist poster I guess ...
... looking as it does like one of those Dali dream sequences from a Hitchcock film . . . but is it any better than what we got in the UK (which is actually better in the flesh than expected)?
Personally speaking, with a title that includes "family", I'd expect to see the family actually on the front . . . maybe like the DARK SHADOWS steelbook . . . leading to something matching for VALUES:-
Now that I've seen the back immortalising the classic tango routine the steelbook looks more pleasing to the eye with at least colour continuity across the covers (unlike the Zavvi) and recalling the topic of shadows or rather lack of/necessity of on steelbooks and, boom, here be several ...
... but there ain't a thing on it to compare with those neat sunglasses:-
As for the creepy (flying) Gothic style house not a bad representation of the real McCoy . . . or, rather, not real because the facade was built at Toluca Lake especially for this film and now no longer exists . . . in the same way that its namesake - suitably located on Adams Boulevard - also no longer exists having been torn down in 1967 to make way for a parking lot but is now used as Track and Field for the Frank D. Lanterman High School . . . with the six globe street light from 1903 the only relic left standing to this day:-

I love this movie, may have to import this one to go with my Zavvi steelbook, hope a steelbook comes for values too now that’s finally getting a release
