Just been told it's a matte finish. Oh well no 3D and Matte, I'll go for the 3D version instead.

Gonna drive down to mine in a few. Dunno what I'm gonna do with the poster, mind. Got nowhere to put it.

UV code is going for about a fiver on eBay though so that knocks the price of the steel down to about £12 :)

I have the week off so popped in first thing to collect from the Oxford Street store. I guess I was the first in as when they went to collect the pre-orders it turned out the light had gone in the store room and he couldn't see anything. Then two assistants went back to see if they could, er, see anything . Nope. so they just grabbed m a couple from a display and some posters (which were behind the counter) and as they rang them up the manger said he's put all the pre-orders in separate box which he got in a few seconds.

Well I just picked up the 2 I reserved and it's a nice steel, it'll go well with my Magnocase and 3D triple play from the U.S
Posters pretty kool..gotta thank HDN for the Info
I'll try and post some pics of all 3

got mine, what was usual was I handed them the copy I picked off the shelf and they put it aside and got me a "fresh" one from a box behind the tills. It didnt have the security sticker/tag on it, not that it bothers me as i open my steels.

I will probably frame the poster, still have my captain america free IMAX poster to frame

Almost bought it this morning, I had it in hand but just couldn't get over the border so I put it back.
I will just settle for the I think.

It was the same in my local HMV, I gave them one off the shelf and instead gave me one from a box. I could see this causing problems for people who really inspect the steelbook as the one they gave me has a small paint chip but im not that OCD to make a fuss. They have never done this with another steelbook in the HMV i use.

Am I right to say the disc has all the extras from the bonus disc?
No the bonus disc is only available from some European retailers its only one exclusive extra about 20 min long

The rest of the extras are the same worldwide and are on the 2D Blu-ray Disc

Extras on the 2D Blu-ray Disc

So when I put this next to the French steel of the first Spider-man... it really makes this steel look amateurish. The back cover/inside art is OK... but that front cover just feels so damn lazy. It's nice that it's somewhat embossed... but that border....

It wouldn't completely solve the issue... but if the image inside the eye... if that section was gloss... I reckon it would make it more palatable.

I imagine the reason they're doing that is because people have pre ordered and all of those ones are behind the till. If you've got a pre order and instead gone and picked it up off the shelf then you've just knocked the count out of whack. Also, my name/deposit number was on my steel so the ones behind the till are very much allocated while the ones on the shop floor are up for grabs.
