The BB store I went to had about 20 of them out. The few that I purchased all had small scratches or paint nicks in the top right corner of the steelbook. In the store, it looked like part of the design to me, so I missed it (damn Best Buy lighting )

I went back to exchange them, and the one's that were left all were the same way and worse! Here is what I'm talking about:

I didn't even see this in store, but yeah, both of my copies have the same paint chip. What the hell?

Just opened one up, it looks pretty nice. Has a really nice gloss finish. And it appears that the only thing wrong with it is the paint chip in the corner. I'm more than satisfied with it.

i got there this morning and i was the first one, i chose 3 perfect copies and wile i was talking with one guy who was putting the movies out here comes this guy who was able to take 10 of them! i thought there was a limit to take but apparently not! all of them were gone but 1 copy before i left the store after 30 minutes!

Oh wow. It does look like part of the design. Just looked at one of my copies and it has that exact paint chip. Its not too much of a biggie. Probably not gonna try to exchange.

Mine has a paint chip under the card but can almost be mistaken for the web so I'm not sweating it.

Just and FYI for anyone in the US. The UV code that comes with this will give you a 3D digital copy on Vudu if you redeem it there. Useful if you use Vudu.

I picked mine up today and they had a bunch of copies. Mine is in great shape. No dents or chips that I can see.

the fat boy 3D lenticular slip seemed like it almost fit over steelbook, but i didnt want to rip the plastic trying. then i thought about it....why am i trying to cover a nice looking steelbook?...then i scrapped that idea.

I actually acquired one of the 3D slipcovers (since they are so huge) to put over this to make it a Steelbook/Slipcover combo. Very slick looking Steel though, big thanks to Best Buy for doing this.

Did you try fitting it over the sealed copy of the SB?

No of course not, it was opened. It looked like it was gonna work so I gave it a nice push but she split. I've been putting DVD slip covers on my steelbooks for years.
