I love this Steelbook so much, did anyone else notice the red & blue on the slip is the texture of the Spider-Man suit. The only thing I like about the Taiwan release is the shrinkwrap, very high quality. Thanks for pics Chip.

I noticed that as well. I think its pretty darn clever the way they decide the color of the slip. It always matches some part of the art of the steelbook. It just blends in and ADDS to the beauty. Now the recen Play.com releases is another story altogether. They need lessons from the Koreans and Taiwanese on how to make a j slip increase the beauty of the steelbook.

Big studios are in charge of UK j-cards ... it wasnt long ago we had printed on rating logos so I think coming this far is a great accomplishment for all collectors.

As for all these small Asian steels, they are being slipped up by a person who places an order for a few hundred j-cards ... they shouldnt be compared.

But in a perfect world yeah we'd like all j-cards to be aesthetically pleasing.

Thx for posting pics, Chip. Both the Tw & Kr Spideys are real beauties - it's hard to choose between them!

Some of the other Korean steels pictured I could take or leave (T1, Scarface) but when the design really gels - Spidey, Snow White & Huntsman - they are just unbeatable

got a 1 coming I have to say to the None believers !! pre dominantly (TW) J cards have been cardboard in some cases & very nice take (Captain America) , but the last 5 steelz have not stepped up at all , Korea is on the Ball now !!

What I really dislike about the Korean slips is the addition of QR codes 'section' which takes quite an unnecessary big chunk of the slip, just imagine the slip without it 'just like the Korean Terminator which is da bomb', that would have killed the Taiwanese slip by miles, having said that it is still a nice slip but personally I prefer the Taiwanese one for it's simplicity & uniqueness
