Somebody on a German forum confirmed that this is identical to the 1st Edition, so it is either leftover stock or an identical rerelease (Complete Matrix Trilogy style)...

I received mine today and I sent it back. it was full of paint chips and scratches. looked like a returned one they sent to me. maybe re-imported steelbooks where put german discs inside. don't looking for replacement. I never got a steelbook in that condition before.

picked this up from ebay last year. good film, nothing outstanding, although the pq and 3d are great. sold it on for what i paid, so happy with that.

I apologise if my comment came across as arrogant. That was not at all my intention.

But I completely disagree that my comment wasn't constructive. A Metapak and a Viva Metal Box is two completelt different things. And all I did was point that out to help both you and other's.
If you're unsure what differantiate the different metal-packagings you can read more about it here. For some reason there's no pic of what VMB's look like in the OP of that thread but you can see more here. It from the same thread though so if you want to you can just read the entire first thread I linked to and get the info you need.

Damn. I was almost kind of hoping you were gonna continue arguing. I love a good argument.

I suppose refering to Viva's as metalpak's is a much better habbit to have than say smoking or getting blackout drunk and getting in fights.

I used to smoke. But i took up Vapouring instead
