Just seen this on the blu-ray site and wondered it's true, so far i'd read that it's the same has the canadian version with 4 disk's but no purchase link yet. so if anybody could shed some light on this would be great.

I do not think the case is all that MarvelMarvelMarvelMarveleous. I didn't pick one up for myself. The only US Viva case I did not like.

I also was a little let down when looking at this title in the store. After i brought it home and opened the thing, I started to really like it.

Seriously what the hell is wrong with Best Buy? I called them today and they're sold out everywhere after they said nothing about this in their weekly ad and nothing is on their website. How the hell were people supposed to know about this? Every one of these Viva's I've seen before showed up online first and you could at least preorder it and get them to hold one for you. Now people like me just finding out about this are completely screwed? What the hell? I for one am extremely pissed off especially since it sounds like Best Buy had no limit on purchases and people just bought up all the copies to sell to ebay.

The member is charging cost, and I think he has plenty of spots for members here.

Unfortunately there is nothing you can do about the hoarding Ebay scum, except don't buy from them. There are store limits, but all you have to do is walk out the door and make another purchase.

Thanks for the heads up, but it looked like the group buy was only for people outside the US. I might just end up getting the German steelbook if this falls through, though it will be sad since I was hoping to get the US version for the commentary and second screen features.

If it is - Los Angeles Area (northern part of LA), thats my area. Chances are its zero inventory. Yes, there are no limits to purchasing multiple copies of a single item.

This notion was actually a "False Move". I feel sorry to most consumer who asked about the SKU number (especially in my region which is LA).

Inventory control checkers of bestbuy relies mostly on SKU.

My concept of buying is knowing the delivery box number.

One shot of this is equivalent of getting a bulk buy and zero-ing out the bestbuy IC system (Inventory Control)

For the people who are having problems with BB employees finding these, just call in to the store or go in and give someone the SKU number to look up:

Within a few hours of posting a rant about not finding a copy at my local Best Buy, I already received several responses from those willing to help out. However, I did finally find a Best Buy a little ways away that has some and shall be picking up a copy on hold tomorrow. Thanks again for those who contacted me and for those who may have been about to, no need now. Once again Hi-Def Ninja has proven to be a great place to visit.

believe it or not i didn't know about this one until i saw the GB so i went today just right now before they close for the day and to my surprise every one was so helpful i got shocked! any how they didnt have any in the store so they check for me in the computer and told me the have an order coming up this week and they even showed me the add for next week which has all the info about this pre-order...so they are going to put them on the floor this Sunday, at least in the one close to my house...i will never be the same after so great COSTUMER SERVICE

i went today to FULLERTON store and they had about 20. i just got a copy since i'm getting the GERMAN steelbook

When I worked in Culver City last year I was able to go into Fox Hills Mall at 12 for lunch and pick up any new release before anyone got them. Now I am in the OC and most of the time they don't even put up Steelbooks/Viva Cases where you can see it or they just simply don't put them up.

Can someone confirm that the FutureShop version is EXACTLY the same as this one? Is FS getting a metal pack and not a steelbook? If this is the case, is the Americas getting a metal pack and Europe getting steel? What country is selling the best steelbook version of this?

I have a couple of pre-orders through FS and could cancel them for BB and better versions.

The product is made by Viva and it's called a Metal Box.

Future Shop is getting the same edition, correct...but not an empty pre-order version - their edition comes with the discs inside.

Europe is getting a steelbook, and I think the best version is the German one as it comes with the 3D, 2D and 2D Bonus features discs.
