Be careful sliding that slipcover over the steelbook. I tried to do the same thing with my Sherlock Holmes steelbook by sliding the lenticular slip from the amaray over the steelbook. It was tight but did fit, however when I tried to take it off it took off some of the paint from the steelbook!

I vowed to never try it again that's for sure!

Amazing Spider man was like the slip from hell... it took me hours tryin 2 get it on... and then days tryin 2 get it off

Normally tho they slide on & off like butter

Dang I was hoping to get this before Christmas. But from the looks of it I don't think that is going to happen. Well at least it will make a nice New Years gift.

Also that UK slip is nice...I need to find someone to sell me one. lol.

It's not unfortunatly, just has an embossed title.

Also, am I the only one who's afraid of those slipcovers? 8 out of 10 I usually throw them away and the 2 out of 10 (ie. Monsters Inc, Tangled) I usually keep them separate from the actual Steelbooks. The likelihood of them scratching the Steelbook's paint is pretty high.

This is also the reason why I usually toss away those precious j-cards some people covet.

you are not alone buddy. I never understood why people want slips for steels. just buy the amaray. I want my steels to look like steels on the shelf. not like a piece of cardboard, that I throw away as well.

Got to agree with you Rick, you can't beat the look of a steel in all it's glory. I do tend to keep the slips in a box though, you never know, they may come in handy sometime.

Tried my Avatar lenti over the uk steel tighter than a nuns chuff so binned that idea Tranformers dotm lenti was ok on it's brethrin steel though, also turned the steel into a 3 discer

Although I love slipcovers, I agree that there's no real reason to combine a nice steelbook with one. It's kind of pointless.

When did Zavvi sent yours? Mine was on the release date (6th of December). If yours was sent on the same date as well then it means UK postal service is being really slow regarding all of their Australia deliveries.

I finally received mine. I am sorry but the embossing on this just looks stupid. You have this tiny little thing in the middle of the steelbook. It would have been much nicer with just the title debossed. When you look at the inside artwork you see this mysterious shape in the middle. If they had mad that part of the interior artwork it would have been cool. IMO

I actually think the embossing is aweosme on this steel. The embossing on the rope is a really nice touch. I understand the minor prob on the inside but I think the exterior is more important anyways. Really am happy I got it.
