The US release has very limited extras though. I'm very surprised by that! I think WB will double dip on this release and I highly doubt the US will see a steelbook version unfortunately.

I doubt it. Not many horror movies get double dips these days. Apart from classics like Evil Dead or Exorcist.

If US has not many extras means UK wont either as I doubt we will get more then US when its a US film.

I will probably get US release and sell it once I get the steely.

Movie was out in cinemas 2 weeks after US.
While the Blu is out 6 weeks later then US!
I will keep pre order as love the look but will buy US disc to tide me over Halloween.

Noose is the part of the rope that is at the bottom hanging from the tree.

Embossed noose means it will have a "3D effect" on that selected area and it will raise up from the rest of the steel so you can actually feel it. And it makes the steelbook look awesome!

I dunno, I mean, Thor & Dusk Till Dawn sell out at 14.99+15.99 each, had the same print run and are both back catalog movies. And I believe each of those (not sure about FDTD) had previous steelbook releases, while Conjuring is a new movie, a very popular movie, an exclusive steelbook, so far exclusive design and the only steelbook announcement for this movie, and a relatively cheap price. It's only 17.49 - coupons could be even 15.75 - which is less than what the back catalog movie 'Thor' costs.

I smell an increased (unannounced) print-run here .

Any admins who have more information about a possible increased print-run?

(Just assumptions btw, movie might sell like ****, but I highly doubt that ).
