Hi all, we added this thread, so you can showcase any customs you have made with lenticulars or other art cards. Please post them here, so our regular Steelbook threads stay focused on the title as released. No trading. Thanks!

Layered and sequence, from what they tell me I wish I had a mac to use their program because I want a PROPER 3D sequence ;)

I gotta say and given my modest skills, I came up with some pretty impressive results on a couple, specially with depth.

I tried doing a sequence but the images I used were low-res and the result was *censored* :p

:hilarious:
Problem we had when I did some for @mehbeh was they looks brilliant on the preview on snappily and then in hand they were a little underwhelming :(

@djs1401 tells me they have upgraded the printers since and are better so we've got an order together to test some quite simple stuff before we go all out :p

Yeah what I did was extract pictures from a gif to get the "movement" element but the outcome on print was a disaster lol, just ask @mlmaier84 about that Thor lenti. The resulting lenti is never to see the light of day again (I'm exaggerating but still lol). That was using their new printer, I'm not blaming them, I just couldn't find high-res pics to get what I wanted.

Looking forward to seeing what you guys come up with next and as I mentioned in a previous post, I'll be posting here mine once they're in hand :)

Just sent you a PM with one but @djs1401 did one for Tron Legacy which may be a game changer :D

Yes, but by doing this 'experimentation', I have learnt how to create good 3D ones.
As @zesty said, it is best to keep it simple. I will only be doing 2 layer 3D ones, and putting the 2nd layer on the 'zero' plane.
The 'zero' plane gets printed really crisp/sharp, so best to put the title and foreground artwork on there, otherwise it will come out blurry.
I did that with the Divergent one, and it is the clearest out of them all.
